Needs to change it up. Have we forgot we need to win this game?
-
Haha Hamza… dear me
-
This is one of the worst about things recently. A total and utter lack of urgency. You’d be forgiven in thinking we’re midtable and on the beach already
-
A misplaced arrogance and all round bad attitude
-
Anyone know why the club badge on training gear and track suits is always a white circle? Like the badge isn’t allowed to feature?
-
We know these players are poor, but my god this is awful. I swear I could cross a ball better than these players
-
One of the worst games I’ve seen for ages, and we’ve had some absolute stinkers this season
-
I’d be disappointed if that pen was given against us…
-
Ask him if he thinks he’s good at his job
-
Perhaps watch boxing instead then

The moment we started grossly rewarding mediocrity, and what I mean by that is giving ludicrous contracts to the likes of Hamza Choudhury and building a squad not capable of warranting those wages. And when those sums didn’t match on field performances the good ones started running down contracts… And also the moment Rudkin et al were given more responsibility with little to no accountability. I should imagine Vichai’s death was the key point there. All created a culture where incompetence reigned.

I got this wrong. I thought the only block available yesterday was the last block, bit it’s actually the first and we’re only just into the second. I reckon it’s sold a third of the initial allocation and it’s down to all fox members.
-
Yea who would invest anything with these clowns in charge. More likely to get a return by burning bank notes
-
Cov went to the fourth tier, and that’s where we’re heading in my opinion.
-
El-Khannouss? I saw something the other day that said he had more assists than Mavididi 🤣
-
The plot thickens. I always thought you could…?
-
I’m surprised at how well the sale has gone. Not many left in the remaining block. I guess you can return them if you want, but I can’t be arsed and it’s the closest away day for me 🤣

Someone asked what evidence there is to support some suggestions I have made about his personality type. What Flynn says is suggestive of someone who is awkward, wants to avoid conflict and so on, not great interpersonal wise, low self awareness. This gives an insight into what he’s like negotiating contracts. But can you imagine what he’s like negotiating contracts with who he wants to be first team regulars? If he wants to avoid conflict or difficult conversations, and if he thinks they hold more power than a youth player like Flynn, you can begin to see why the club has got itself in a ludicrous situation with the amount of silly contracts. Through Rudkin we’ve literally been taken advantage of. From a human psychology perspective, if a player has reached their ceiling and is being paid far too much compared to what they’d get elsewhere, it leads to complacency and a subtle message is sent that you don’t need to work hard to be rewarded very well. That has been done for years and look what has happened… low and behold we are about to be relegated from the Championship with the highest wage bill 🤣

Perhaps he’s even more damaging than we think, if good candidates for jobs are apprehensive because of his reputation in the game for being a clown and don’t come here because of him.

Was it Charlie Methven who likened to him to the idiot son of a billionaire? It must be hard to motivate yourself to carry on the family fortune and grow it when you can sit back, play polo and spaff it all up the wall with no consequence to yourself. Or perhaps not if you have any self respect.
-
And the organisation is already full of junior yes men, and perhaps in McCarron they’ve found another? Nick Mashiter is a good journalist. Even better at stealing your toilet…
-
Perhaps. Clearly not everyone is the same and symptoms can overlap. What I’d really like to know or hear more about is the logic behind some of the contracts he’s dished out which for years have consistently been beyond belief. I wonder whether it relates to his personality type?
-
And to think Aiyawatt credits him with masterminding the PL title win 🤣 nothing to do with the structures that had been in place for years developed by Pearson, Shakey and Walsh et el…
-
From I’ve read here and elsewhere he shows many signs of being on the spectrum, chronically lacking in self awareness and probably with incredible levels of self belief. It can be incredibly hard to work with people with these traits, and from personal experience they can be incredibly toxic and burdensome to those around them. Sound familiar?
