Nobody expects brand new games every year. They also don't expect basically the same game with arbitrary feature updates, full price, every year for 10-odd years (more like 15 in FM's case) which is essentially what consumers have got from EA and SI.

What a mess. I suppose there's a bit of credit for just holding their hands up here and saying "it's not ready", clearly spread themselves far too thinly. They've been relying on the same tired and outdated match engine for 15+ years. Just like FIFA - for one of the biggest-selling game series ever - so many of the editions have been reskins and roster updates with little meaningful feature development, and they expect people to pay full price when DLCs would be sufficient. Companies like EA and SI are FAR too comfortable with their monopolies, and it shows with the shit they churn out every year. Taking a couple of years out to ACTUALLY do some game development is long overdue I'm afraid.

I've lost just under 3st since October last year. <2000 cal a day for 5 days a week, and I let loose a bit at the weekend with some nice scran and a few bevvies. I go to the gym 3 times a week if I can and also try to get a couple of 5k runs in and also try to keep my protein intake above 200g a day to maintain muscle mass. This. The problem you'll face with such a low calorie intake - you will see a reduction in muscle mass, as well as your body fat. It can cause your metabolic rate to slow down since your body will basically go into survival mode, meaning you may gain weight more easily as soon as you return to normal habits as it will want to re-store as much energy as possible as fat. Long term changes over short term extreme dieting is the way.

Haven't watched WWE since around the beginning of the Ruthless Aggression era, but the other day whilst in the bath the YouTube algorithm gods recommended a video from Maven's channel, and it sent me back down a WWE rabbit hole. Ended up watching a few matches on WWE Vault from 1999-2002 when it was absolutely at its peak IMO. The roster around the time of the Invasion & brand extension was incredible. The 3-way tag TLC matches. Incredible. And the crowd pop when Stone Cold's broken glass hits every time he returned from injury still gives me goosebumps.

Have spent an entire day with him in a professional capacity. I can only speak from personal experience, but absolutely not a bellend.
