A proper four or five-nil pumping here and you'd think that Ruud's position becomes untenable.
-
I think it was widely believed at one point it was because Rodgers didn't like how much influence Kasper had in the dressing room and around the club in general, and the two didn't see eye-to-eye. It seems like that was nonsense since he's rejoined him at Celtic (unless of course there was some conciliation of some sort - which seems unlikely) From the recent Radio Leicester podcast it was insinuated that the decision to let Kasper leave was largely a financial one given he was on astronomical wages at the time, and the repercussions from the club's financial mismanagement was beginning to bite.

I struggle to understand why these people bother. Surely the amount of clicks this gets isn't worth the effort, assuming it isn't AI generated slop.

I thought this exactly. It was like an episode of a true crime podcast.

Decent feature-length episode of the podcast called “The State of Leicester City” Nothing revelatory, but some well-connected names in media circles around the club (Percy, Tanner etc) giving their take on the mess Nice to see the media pile on continue. What fans are doing is working.

My stance on Rodgers has softened a little bit over the last 12 months or so, but not much. I can’t forgive him giving up and fishing for the sack and I used to think that he relegated us because he couldn’t stand to be proven wrong about his team selections. I still think he’s massively culpable in our decline, but it’s become very clear since that the issues ran much deeper than a mardy manager who wasn’t getting his own way. Definitely a narcissistic sociopath and a proper pecker, n'all.

Seems like there were the usual happy-clappers at the game. Any KPFC militants having a go at fellow fans for voicing their displeasure and not backing the lads™?

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
RoboFox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
It doesn't matter - the same points about Moyes and Potter will still be made ad infinitum. They knew exactly how clueless the owner is, how inept and negligent the board is, that we've got a tracksuit-clad stable master as a DoF and a squad full of third-rate dross. It couldn't be more obvious to people in football circles what a mess this club is. The only option we had was someone desperate for a chance and he's turned out to be fvcking useless n'all. -
Foxes Trust Calls for Ticket Price Freeze

I just come to these threads for a @RYM dismantling. -
Basically admitted the players were ignoring his instructions during the first.

The stadium has fallen completely silent bar a few ironic cheers for our embarrassment of a football team mustering a few basic passes and a corner. Like watching a pre-season friendly. There's just nothing at stake for them because we're utterly abject.
-
Albrighton suggesting we're capable of an attack.
-
Ruud's persistence with Faes is all you need to see to know he wants the sack. This bloke is up there with the worst CBs I've ever had the misfortune of watching at "this level" (whatever this level is)
-
Look, hindsight is 20/20 and everything. But I don't remember even feeling this despondent in 2007-08. Hateful.
-
This looks like a lopsided cup tie for a non-league side away at a Premier League club but without any of the fight, energy or endeavour. West Ham winning this without even breaking a sweat. The club should be ashamed.
-
Ironic cheers and oles from the West Ham fans for our shit players doing the absolute basics. You love to see it. If I could be arsed to go watch this shit I'd join in.
-
Thick losers.
-
You think things are bad then you remember this away kit exists. Absolutely honking. The commentator on my feed alongside Albrighton sounds like he’d rather be anywhere else.
-
What is going on?
-
Yes. But it won't happen until the end of the season.

Ric Flair Live & Direct on BSLB Podcast
RoboFox replied to Ric Flair's topic in Leicester City Forum
The guys on the podcast definitely echo the majority sentiment on FoxesTalk, and we all know it isn't reflected in the larger fanbase - but I couldn't believe what I was hearing this week. I haven't been to a game since before Xmas and things were a little less desperate, but the stuff about supporters in SK1 having a pop at UFS and others speaking up against the shit-show that is our football club was astonishing. We all know a large section of match-going fans are fairly innocuous happy-clappers, but I was surprised to hear the rabid KPFC militants are coming out of the woodwork again - and in numbers. Clearly the disgusting incidents with the Brendan Out banner guys were not isolated. -

Anyone excited about tomorrow's game ?
RoboFox replied to marcymarc666's topic in Leicester City Forum
Looking forward to being on here much more. I have to direct my anger at the club somewhere and it's a cathartic place to do it with like-minded fellow LCFC haters. The football match is secondary, because we know what will happen.
