  1. Shame. The Lamplighters was such a lovely place.
  2. I was considering going to The Stags head. I can't go to any local pubs as I live about 5 mins from the Emirates! Having said that, early kick-offs tend not to draw the punters in...
  3. City are now getting a write up in the F**KING NEW YORK TIMES! http://www.nytimes.com/2016/02/03/sports/soccer/leicester-city-tops-liverpool-and-keeps-on-dreaming-of-title.html?_r=0 What on earth is going on?
  4. Some real double-hard bastard, pwopa nawty Chelsea fans acting like real men and trashing someone's business in Munich, before assaulting him. Absolute baying cvnt thugs acting under the guise of 'football supporters'. https://www.facebook.com/bewarmers/videos/903043196472789/?fref=nf They're an embarrassment to the game and a disgrace to English football. F**ks me off, no end.
  5. @@Happy Fox, Let me know how it is tomorrow as I can't make it. I have to say, during the Championship years it was guaranteed rammo every TV game. Not so much recently, when I've been down there this season it's just been a bit of a disappointment in terms of numbers. Still a laugh though.
  6. Pretty interesting article published in VICE about Leicester's drug users pinching, specifically meat, from the city's supermarkets and selling it on. It mentions the Narb as a hotbed for it... Although I lived on it for four years, and can't ever recall ever seeing or being aware of it going on in the area. Anyway, here's the link: http://www.vice.com/en_uk/read/heroin-meat-thieves-929?utm_source=Facebook&utm_campaign=viceuk&utm_medium=social
  7. Doing the job I do, I work with "celebs" most days, some TV personalities I work with every day of the week. Some are lovely, others are absolute d**ks. Whilst I won't name any names, I will say that later today I'm going off to work with David Hasselhoff... I'll report back to let you know how it goes. Edit: Oh, and I did nearly pass up the job because it'll mean I'm going to miss the game...
  8. Just shows what a mess the club was under Mandaric. Who knows where we'd be now had the Srivaddhanaprabha family not taken over.
  9. Yup. Just the biggest concentration of absolute, grade-A c**ts. Admittedly a few of us went back for a few around there at Christmas for the first time in years... Was surprised to see it was pretty dead, but that's only because the bars had either been closed down, or the owners had burned them down to claim the insurance money. Just Googled it, and 3rd worst road in the country for theft and robbery?! F**k! http://www.northamptonchron.co.uk/news/crime/northampton-s-bridge-street-third-worst-road-in-uk-for-theft-and-robbery-1-5940949
  10. Despite being born in the city, and growing up in the shire. I went to school in Northampton, thus a lot of my days and nights in my formative years were spent mooching around the town and many of my good friends are from there. Then lived in Leicester for a number of years afterwards (on the Narb Road, no less) before moving to London Looking back, Leicester IS a f**king utopia compared to Northampton... I'd tell anyone I meet down here the same.
  11. http://www.theshedend.com/topic/27876-leicester-city-vs-chelsea-pl-29042015-ko-1945-gmt/ Most of their posters seem to think along the same lines... Don't underestimate us.
  12. I'll send him some ointment for his butthurt.
  13. "10 things the Premier League need to know about Leicester and Burnley", here. "Pearson however - despite being somewhat of an inspirational captain in his playing days - doesn't seem to like that side of management and is barely worth talking to at all, even if his side has just been promoted, as ardent Football League Show viewers will testify. Always avoid post-match Pearson if you're already feeling a touch drowsy" Pearson isn't THAT boring, is he?
  14. Some very complimentary comments from Doncaster fans about the weekend's match here. "Best experience of opposition fans I've ever had" Nice.
  15. I've probably met some of you over a drink in the Stag's Head on a blurry Saturday afternoon. It's a great little pub. The Burnley match was fantastic in there... The more City fans we can pack the place out with, the better.
  16. They did the same with the new so-called "Thief" game on the next-gen consoles... Changed an iconic voice actor for some cut-and-paste-gruff-hero-type. The first two are my favourite games of all time and they really screwed it with the latest release.
  17. I've been mooching about here for a while now, figured it was time to sign up. I'll be the awkward new kid sitting in the corner. Raised a City fan in the shire and have been my whole life apart from a few months as an eight-year-old when I decided I wanted to support Dirty Leeds... I soon realised my mistake and no, I can't explain myself. Apologies in advance. Living and working in the big smoke now and I get to matches when I can.
