It’s not the same as those though Ashley. They all use adidas which has a chip in the ball to establish exactly when the ball is struck and to freeze the 3D imaging. (Patented tech) PL has Nike balls, fa cup is mitre - so I assume that the var still has to pinpoint the frame that the ball is struck and the tech then takes over from there. Not as accurate and will take longer. Imo it’s bollux because the freeze frame is unreliable and the 3D tech will give offside for a mm. So whilst we have quicker decisions (not as quick as those comps you mentioned) I am certain we’ll have incorrect decisions based on the freeze being inaccurate.

It’s the system which stinks and will probably see him leave in the summer and our comp will be v small when set against the upside that the club he goes to has.
