I don't think Kent winning is a bad thing- they will likely go up anyway and this puts some distance between us and Middlesex.

Excellent performance. The side looks so balanced this season- having so many all-rounders means that we can play 5 seamers and bat down to 10. What a luxury. We might just have a shot at promotion.

There's over 50 clubs in this country who could comfortably take 45k to Wembley- doesn't mean all of them could fill anywhere near that for a standard home game.

Yet another good day. We look like a really well-balanced side this year. Budinger and Hill carrying some form into the season means that we don't really have a weak link in the batting when we're full strength. The seam attack looks more consistently dangerous than I thought it would. I don't think we will be too far off promotion come the end of the season. Pray that forecast clears up a bit overnight!

Not sure how I'd feel about him pulling rabonas out whilst recovering from an ACL anyway...
