Well, if I were a journalist, I'd make it my business to ask the relevant people, out of respect. I'm a musician, I've been taught to use my ears and listen. I wish people did it more. But if I wanted to know this sort of thing now, there are endless resources. I'm sure you've heard of the Internet.

I know the club is a s**tshow, but confidently assuming they've binned him off rather than it being his decision just looks like rationalising any blame that might be thrown at the club. Maybe, just maybe, he's had enough.
