We cant even put a team together yet, so I expect you could be 4 nil up by half time. Then maybe our lot will wake up after the've had Breakfast and Luch at our 5 star resort.

Fair Points, Granted he doesn't look like a leader but I very much doubt he's the worst player post war. I can think of quite a few worse than him, who cost a lot more. I'd give it to Nelson if he's still here but I guess we may well bring in someone with experience who's on the way down, As that seems to be the way we're going.

He should be comfortabe at this level and certainly not the worst in the squad.

They are a former Premier league club just like us. With the direction we are going we could easily emulate them with the leadership we've got. -

Selling the crown jewels now. How far we've fallen. -
I wouldn't rule out Thomas either. One of our own amd probably our most experienced player left and a premiership Champion.

He would seem an obvious choice if he's still here.

That should be part of the deal for next season anyway to help him grow up. Which all young players need to do. -
The same fellow who scouted Skipp.

I just hope he kicks on and creates a great career for himself. Credit to him for agreeing the Contract that insures we get a fee for him. He could have left us in the hands of another tribunal fiasco.- 297 replies

He'd be a revelation in the Italian league as the pace is so much slower than the Prem or even the Championship. I'd like to keep him but with only a year left on his Contract it's likely he'll move on.

Is this a Scouting exercise ?.
-
Last fixture out of the Hat. It says it all about our year. Lets hope things improve from here and we move upwards.
-
100% correct.
-
This probably his level. If we can recover even 10 mil for him we should grab it.

For a Club with the best facilities in the Country our Fitness levels have been terrible. The amount of times looking at players trying to run backwards to defend or help out I'm pretty sure I could have kept up with them. We need to get super fit before the season starts as it's amazing how many teams you can catch out early in the season. Then momentum is everything. -
Because Youths all develop at a different pace, Some have lot's of talent young and others are slow learners. Others just work harder at developing a skill set. It's the system that's wrong and some Club are going to have to make a stand against it. Football is a special industry it needs a special set of Rules in law.

Having the strongest team doesn't always mean it leads to success. We should know that better than most Clubs. You have to have good leadership off the Pitch also to create the right environment. -
Yes, I guess it's all about how it's used. For Good or Bad. Sometimes they forget who they are really working for.
-
Can we even field 11 players excluding those who are leaving without using Youths. I doubt it.
-
You've answered your own question.

This is the Dilemma, I suspect King Power parent Co. has little to no interest in Football or either Football Clubs. These are Tops baby, And unlees he get's his act together soon he could be left with little to nothing. His only chance is to rebuild the Club and improving the Financias along the way.
-
It's laughable if it wasn't so serious for the Club Financially. The money he's cost the Club as well as our Credability in the game, and yet he's still here. Any self respecting Man would have walked long ago. But I guess money talks.

Yes I agree and who could blame her. A senior Government official said to me once, The best kind of Boards and Committees are one Man Leaderships with the support of the rest of them, provided it's the right Man or Woman in Leadership. More Progress and Work seems to get's done that way.

The CEO is answerable to the Chairman who is answerable to the Board. The CEO can be overruled by one or both. KP as a family were unprepared for the Accident and are unfit to run such a large Company in my opinion. Are now having to bring in outsiders now to run the business. When the smart thing to do would have been to hunker down in the trenches after both the Accident and Covid , Consolidate and keep doing largely what got you to where you are.
