I think we will trash quite a few teams this season once we get settled on our best team. I think the new CF will do really well and Mavididi will have serious competition for his place now. So he's going to have to step up and become a team player. Our Fitness, Pace and Football will crush teams this season.

Cambiasco was the stand out player in every sense. He brought so much professionalism with him. But one I liked a lot was Ulloa if he qualifies on age. Scored some great goals for us.

Aside from injuries I expect us to field our best available Team. While preseason has went well. Russell will want to see them in competitive action before the serious games begin in the league next week.

Agreed. It shouldn't be beyond us to win the Johnstones Trophy if we get some momentum going in the league. Especially with the big squad we have. It would give everyone a big lift and something to cheer about.

I think Russell is happy with him in the DMR. About the only position he can play. But I still hope Skipp leaves if only to get his rediculous salary off the Books. I'd like to see us try somone like Koulabaly or Aluko in the Skipp role. Both quicker Taller and Stronger than Skipp. With Braybrooke and Alves in front providing the attacking threat. It may take them a while to learn the position but I think they could do a better job.

15 Goals in 30 games is above average consistancy. in most leagues. If he can dribble with the Ball also, that has to be a big plus. I think he's going to be a success , Especially this season at least. Either way I'd prefer giving a lad a chance rather than another failing oldie.

Reid done ok on Saturday but is probably past his best now but still has something to offer in experience. I wouldn't worry about Saturdays game as Senior players tend to save themselves in such games. I expect it will be 1 off Reid, Chaplin and Cullen to start games along with the new Striker and Winger up top. Supported by Alves and Braybrooke providing the ammunition with Skipp the anchor in Midfield.

I have a good feeling about this signing, Someone who can score goals while also roughing up CBs helping Chaplin and Cullen add even more goals.

Possibly, But then again you have a realise who the Managers were that gave him the job. I seen a lot of him as a dev player and he was excellent. Since getting his chance he hasn't stepped up to that next level. He promises a lot but mostly falls short. Which is a shame because he could be so much better.

Hopefully this new left back will put Thomas under pressure and make him achieve some consistancy. As you say it doesn't help any full back when the Winger doesn't want to help out. I'm hoping these are the type of things Russell will see and sort out. He doesn't need to beat every full back either, A simple give and go can save him getting clattered, Or run in behind to receive it over the top.

No it wasn't , I genuinely don't know anything about him as a player other than I seen his scoring stats. And given our record in signing Strikers in recent seasons this seems like another disaster, unless he brings something different.
