  1. I genuinely thought we signed Ajew as back up in the squad not as a player at the expence of Fats on the wing. On his best day he's never going to give us what Fats does both attacking and defending. Fats could have helped jj prevent that goal. Other than the chance he missed he offered very little and that's in all 3 games he's played. How could any manager think he's better than Fats on the Wing. Baffling.
  2. Enzo is a Top Coach and Manager who I new we were going to miss sadly, and so it's proved.
  3. He's clearly out of his depth. There was so much wrong with that team selection again and the performance that is very hard to have any sympathy for him as it's all self inflicted. How he allowed it to continue from the sideline just shows he's in over his head. He has no business claiming anything from that game when the players dug him out of a Hole. Then he had the adacity to take off the two most influential players we had playing who were trying to get us back into the game, Thats Mav and NDiddi. He should have brought Fats on for Ayew at half time also.
  4. I've always seen him more as a Poacher that a Striker or a Target man. He's not big enough or strong enough to be a physical target man and not mobile enough as a striker. He does take up good positions in the box but needs a supply. I think Stoke just need to find out how to get the best out of him. Which may take a while, but I expect him to come good.
  5. This is why Fats should play on the right to help jj out. Stop McNeill and you pretty much nulify them.
  6. I know a few others have answered your question also. Because it's the right thing to do I believe, If you have the seats you will draw more people to come. But also if there are a lot of empty Seats then the Club are clearly doing something wrong. One of the big problems is the Clubs wait to close to match day to announce general sale tickets. Which means a lot of Fans who live further away or overseas Fans who would like to attend a few games a season cant go because Flights etc are too high at sort notice. They should sell General sale tickets at least in pairs, as a lot of Fans would like to bring there wife, partner or Children. Really though the ground should never be empty. The Club should be going around schools and colleges giving out cheap or free tickets to encourage them to become future Fans. It would take a little planning but could be done successfully.
  7. I was coming on here expecting to hear he hit a Hatrick tonight and many Fans calling for his early recall from his Loan.
  8. I'd prefer to see us play with our two proper Wingers. Mav and Fats. Both offer a lot more in a need to win game. Fats can assist JJ in defence while Mav can hold the Ball up better than VK bringing others into the game. While also spreading there defence thin across the back. I expect to see Edourd replace Vardy up top at some point in the second half. It will be tight but I feel we can win this if the players keep the mommentum up against an Everton team clearly down on confidence.
  9. It seems like we're prepared to build and secure infrastructure financial Assets in the short term, at the expence of improving the quality of the squad.
  10. Hopefully it's for the Stadium development as that would make sense.
  11. Not a good sign looking forward if we're borrowing for day to day stuff.
  12. Yes I remember playing in such games. I remember a league match at under 10s, It was a tight game 1-1 and the other team scored a winner. When the Keeper was asked why he didn't try to save it. He said I was looking at the Helicopter passing over and forgot about the game. This was another incident that happened the same season.MThe referee called a drop ball. He had the Whistle in his mouth and when he blew and dropped the ball our player lashed at it as it dropped and hit the referee striaght in the face. He lost his 4 front Teeth that day. The things you remember from years ago.
  13. Souness was a good player as well as dirty, but I guess that's somewhat true of all players as individuals, I think the reference was to how to play with the ball at your feet as opposed to how you play within the team structure. Otherwise it would end up like a kids game with everyone chasing the Ball all over the pitch. But yes Football seemed so much less complicated and easier back in the old days.
  14. This is a huge injustice ot only to us but to every other prem club. They told us Var would be available at all prem grounds. Now we're hearing that it's not fit for purpose at Crystal Palace. That's a huge cockup by the League and PGMOL who should have come foward and said it's not acceptable to our Match officials. That should mean that no games are played at Palace until it's sorted. There dragging there feet now qaiting for the passage of time to soften there embarrassment.
  15. Exactly, I never heard anything so silly from a manager. Players always need help and instruction. If nothing else it keeps the players on the same wavelenght.
  16. Another thing that worried me about Saturdays subs is that it seems he sent them out without any specific instructions. For instance Hamza should have been to told to nulify Huges who had a free run in midfield and was creating most of their pressure with quality passes. How could he not notice the influence Hughes had for them when he came on.
  17. It really depends on how the game is unfolding. At 2-0 nil up we were in control of the game. There's no doubt the dodgy Goal changed the game as any goal does. It gave them hope and belief that they could get an equalizer. If he'd have brought on someone like Ricardo who knows how to defend a lead, can hold onto the ball even win it back and make a pass. That would have sent a message to the team that I expect you to win this game. It would have likely taken the momentum out of Palace also, especially if they had to keep going backwards to gain possession. By deciding to try and hold what we had it allowed Palace the time to take control of the ball and game while they continued to overwhelm us with Balls into the Box. When that happens the pressure usually tells as it did on Saturday. Lets hope he learns something from it but I'm getting the impression he's hoping for something good to happen for us, rather than setting us up to make it happen.
  18. Wilf was strong and agressive on Saturday, Something we've lacked for so long. If he can keep this side of his game going it will certainly make up for his lack of technical skills. Though his instinct to pass to Mav instead of shooting was sublime and shows he was willing to put the team first instead of seeking the glory himself. We just need to get Winks to deliver more in games and things should improve.
  19. He's still finding his feet in the Team but offered very little so far. I don't like him playing on the wing and certainly not instead of Mav. I think he could do very well in the hole behind Vardy.
  20. Definitely, Maresca is an elite Manager. If we'd have been able to give him the type of money we gave Rogers to waste we'd be top half premiership now.
  21. So is Mav playing on the right wing if VK is playing on the left.
  22. No Fatawu , That's criminal. The man hasn't got a clue about Management.
  23. Has the team been announced yet ?
  24. The squad should be good enough to stay up if we can score goals. That's the big problem I see we have is where are the Goals coming from on a regular basis. Vardy aside none of the others are prolific goal scores. The other big problem, Has Cooper lost the players if he has we're in big trouble never mind him. Players are not stupid, they can see if he knows what he's at or not. And everyone can see his tactics so far are flawed. So let's hope he can get something from todays game and bring a bit of belief into the players.
  25. We had better last season in Enzo and some people still weren't happy. I was really gutted when he left as I felt he'd bring us back up to top 10 very quickly. Now I'm not even confident we'll avoid relegation again.
