  1. A strange signing indeed, But let's see what he offers before righting him off. A goal today if he plays would go along way to convince some The one thing he's said is he likes to play for a Manager that believes in him. I'm certain that's true for all players but never the less it's why he agreed to sign for Cooper.
  2. That's the way Cooper operates, He likes to see what the oposition are up too before decding to re jig our tactics.
  3. That's a decent line up, Though I feel he may go with Wilf instead of Reid while we find our out how they're playing. Cooper tends to be a more cautious Manager until he works out their system. Another point would do fine. I just hope we give it a go at some point in the game like last week.
  4. How many is that we have now under 25. 1. Mads 2. Jakob 3 Kristensen 4. Alves, 5 Braybrook 6 Fats 7 Cannon 8. Oki 9. New lad 10. Skipp Any More I've missed. ?
  5. We're all very tired and confused. On the plus side we should have a great team in 2 to 3 years with all these good young players we're signing.
  6. 4 Goals in 77 games is not a great return, Can he step up to the Premierleague or not. On some of our recent signings it's questionable.
  7. Maybe Ayew is a Shingi type of signing, Someone who can work well with Vardy in games where we're going for a win.
  8. This is where the club or Rudkin needs to step in a say sorry but that's not the profile of players we want to sign.
  9. He's been excellent since Enzo brought him back into the fold. He was a standout performer last season. I wouldn't call him slow It's just a pity he's lost that short distance burst of pace so often needed at the back in the Premier league. It's going to be interesting to see if Okoli can take his place or not. I'm guessing we'll him as a 3 with Okoli and Faes at some point. Maybe in games where Cooper fancies our chances and pushes others further upfield.
  10. He has been a bit of a bomb scare at times due mainly to lapses in concentration. He's quick brave and mobile with a level of skill. He's at his best when he 's not the main man and has someone beside him to talk him through games. I think with Coopers Coaching we can see him improve greatly and become a solid defender we can depend on.
  11. This is what's been needed on this site for years, An analysis on each game and players after the game. Now we need one to analysis the season as it's going. Are we getting better or worse, are some players not performing or doing brilliantly. Well Done.
  12. For relaxation you cant beat a Cruise. Waited on 24/7 and pampared. And you'll get brownie points from the wife as no Cooking cleaning etc for a week or two. Just be careful of the Cruise company you book with. You don't want one with too many kids if your gone past that stage in life. Planning on doing another next year after a few years break.
  13. Yes I did see that, It meant a lot to him to get a result against them considering he grew up with them. Then again Enzo believed in him when Spurs clearly didn't. He's a true blue now.
  14. It sounds harsh I know especially how good he's been since signing but there's no sentiment in Football. If Cooper doesnt plan on using him regularly then we should cash in and get our money back while he's still very saleable. Then as you say bring in a new younger RB to compete with JJ.
  15. I thought the same after the game, the interviwer didn't ask why Ricardo was left out of the side. We probably would have got the usual he's carrying a knock. But I thought it was strange that the question wasn't asked.
  16. Ricardo and Fatawu worked really well down the right side last season and I'm sure Cooper knows that. It could be as simple as Ricky picking up a knock in training last week and rested as a precaution.
  17. I have to disagree. Why then did'nt he nail down a place after we signed him for big money. We already have too many good players who can't get in the Team. What we need is better players, Do you think he's better than Ricardo or JJ. who had a good game against a much better forward in Son last night. Even last night he was bailed out a couple of times by others. He even headed the ball into touch when all he had to do was let it go out handing possession back to Spurs. I hope you're right and he does listen because that's the only way he'll learn. What he does have is the physic to be a player, something we've lacked for a while. I hate to see young players waste their big opportunity in life because that Window closes quickly. As for Maresca he's possibly the best Coach I've ever seen, Even the players thought so.
  18. He has been crap since he signed, thats a given. If you don't want to see that it's fine thats your opinion. I'll say it again tonight he done ok, That's all. He has lots to learn if he want's too be a great player. Lets see how how he developes from here.
  19. I was surprised Spurs had him on Corners because he was always terrible for us.
  20. He done ok tonight, lost possession cheaply in 1 on 1s at times and Faes and Vesty covered for him at other times. Johnson isn't a physical player so that also helped him. Second half he done better as did most of the team. He got more space down the line when Spurs pushed on looking for the Winner. Lets see how he gets on from here. I hope he improves but he's got to work hard and listen to the Coaches.
  21. It's cerainly a strange decision to leave Ricky out. Was he carrying a knock or something.
  22. Thats how their Gov works, Aligning themselves to big business.
  23. He's a little lightweight but never stopped trying. He'll gain a lot of confidence from tonights game and his first game for the club so he'll definitely get better.
  24. He done ok tonight and grew into the game. Poor first half but then he wasn't alone. A little nieve at times but he's young and will learn. If he continues to listen to the Coaches he'll definitely get better.
  25. Whatever Cooper said to them at half time did the trick. And when the players got a bit of belief in themselves they were excellent.
