  1. Yes it's only when you see them all together that you realise the quality of many of those finishes. Some belters and some with a sublime deft touch. He really was an excellent finisher.
  2. Not impossible to imagine that happenning. It depends on how Ruud gets on, But nice to have as afall back position.
  3. I'm inclined to agree with your Manager comment. He comes across as too nice to be a Manager. Managers need that little ruthless streak if and when needed.
  4. I've thoroughly enjoded watch that Video of Kings goals. He really was an elite finisher with the quality of many of his goals. His positioning timing and composor together with his deft touch is just sublime. I'd urge any young player to watch this video as there's so much to learn from King. Let's hope he can bring it back to the Club and educate many of the young players coming through the Club.
  5. Didn't Cooper say no Clubs of the right calibre came in for him and so he thought he'd be better staying working eith the Squad.
  6. Brighton losing 3-1 to Fulham tonight. They do look beatable . Another win for us and it will help greatly with our confidence.
  7. Thats a real possibility or to give him the extra few Days to recover. Either way it worked out for the better for us. He's the most improved player under Cooper, Albeit from a low base. He still needs to improve his defending at Corners though. It's as if he doesn't know where to stand or who to mark. A lot to admire but a lot to learn also. He does seem to be working hard which is a real positive.
  8. The problems in the fist half was mostly created by El Kanousse particurlarly but also Facundo not tracking back to help out while Wilf Soumare and especially VK were overrun by WH. Neither El Kanousse or Facundo are defensive minded players they're young and still learing the game. But that will come with good Coaching. I think it's a partnership that can work for many reason. They're both strong, Win Headers, Cover ground quickly and can pass the Ball once they keep it simple. Second half Wilf and Soumare sat a bit tighter in front of the defense in a 4:2:4 formation. With El Kanouse and Facundo dropped into the Channels cutting out a lot of Balls and even starting attacks at times. I think we'll see a similar setting when Winks is back, But instead of Winks sitting deep I'd play Winks in front of Wilf and Soumare with Facundo and El Kanousse alongside Winks taking the game to the opposition. But also leaving the Full backs sitting in to defend first putting an end to all the room they were leaving behind themselves as thay tried ti carry out what Cooper wanted. Cutting down on Goals against leads to Points which is what we need right now. There's still a lot of work to be done on the Training ground but I feel last night was a good start to the future of how we might play under Ruud. I had given up on this season under Cooper but now I'm excited to see how Ruud improves us going forward but also the signings in January and the Summer Windows.
  9. I don't know if many realise but he had a hand in two of the Goals last night. Vardy's Goal when he played the ball to El Kanousse to play Vardy in and then the pass to Daka for the 3rd Goal. If he can keep improving we'll all be very happy.
  10. I thought both NDiddi and Soumare were excellent last night. Both winning the Ball back many times and creating attacks. That's despite being overrun by WH players in the fisrt half. Soumare covered so much ground and is beginning to settle into the team. They not only defended well but offered themselves into space to receive the Ball, retaining possession and starting attacks. A lot to work on but a good start by Ruud and a few signings should make us better in January.
  11. He's been missing most of the first half defensively, why do you think he can drop back and do anything. Ruud is pushing him up top with Vardy because he didn't fdefend in the first half. That's not really his game. He's young and still learning.
  12. Wilf has been excellent and Skipp hasn't improved the team anytime he's played. Look at the workrate of Wilf an Soumare.
  13. A big improvement in that we've tried to play the game as opposed to sitting back. Soumare has run more tonight than in all his games so far for us. Maybe he's begining to find his feet.
  14. No both have been our best players even if not perfect.
  15. VK getting no help from El Kanousse on the left side.
  16. We're so much better tonight despite our limitations. NDiddi and Soumare have been excellent.
  17. Cannon is to slow for the Premiership. Even Cooper realised that. He could do a job though alongside a big CF who wins lots of Ball.
  18. Stop Bowen and you nulilfy a lot of there threat.
  19. Souttar was another poor signing by Rogers and was never mobile enough for the Premiership. Nelson needs experience Though I doubt he'd be any worse that what we have in the Squad presently. We need 2 CBs and a right back who can compete in this league in the next 2 Windows. While we rebuild for the future.
  20. That's about the best Team from what we have available.
  21. To play as a team you have to be on the same hymnsheet. We're simply not working hard enough to take up good positions when we gain possession. There's also too much space between us which is why many of the passes get cut out. JJ, Soumare, NDiddi and Faes look to be carrying af ew pounds. Maybe they got too comfortable last season in the Championship when they didn't have to break too much sweat. If I were Ruud I'd get the fitness levels while instilling my methods on the Squad. My guess is we'll see abig turnover over in personnel during the next couple of windows.
  22. Exactly this. Some of ours look to be carrying Flab and we're at little off the pace compared to the opposition each week. It's only small margins But at this level small margins make a big difference. The players fitness should never be an issue but it is presently and needs to change. We're trying to play a high tempo game closing players down but we're way off the pace.
  23. Palmer is the playing very well for them which is a bonus but It's enzo's work ethic which is why they're 3 rd in the table. It's a team game and he Enzo has them playing as a team which is what he done here. And he's done it early in his rein at Chelsea where many others have tried and failed.
  24. There's no doubt Enzo is an elite Manager I really think he would have taken us back to the top in a season or two. I'm not the slightest bit surprised by his success at Chelsea.
  25. That's good, We haven't looked fit enough all season.
