  1. This is a huge injustice ot only to us but to every other prem club. They told us Var would be available at all prem grounds. Now we're hearing that it's not fit for purpose at Crystal Palace. That's a huge cockup by the League and PGMOL who should have come foward and said it's not acceptable to our Match officials. That should mean that no games are played at Palace until it's sorted. There dragging there feet now qaiting for the passage of time to soften there embarrassment.
  2. Exactly, I never heard anything so silly from a manager. Players always need help and instruction. If nothing else it keeps the players on the same wavelenght.
  3. Another thing that worried me about Saturdays subs is that it seems he sent them out without any specific instructions. For instance Hamza should have been to told to nulify Huges who had a free run in midfield and was creating most of their pressure with quality passes. How could he not notice the influence Hughes had for them when he came on.
  4. It really depends on how the game is unfolding. At 2-0 nil up we were in control of the game. There's no doubt the dodgy Goal changed the game as any goal does. It gave them hope and belief that they could get an equalizer. If he'd have brought on someone like Ricardo who knows how to defend a lead, can hold onto the ball even win it back and make a pass. That would have sent a message to the team that I expect you to win this game. It would have likely taken the momentum out of Palace also, especially if they had to keep going backwards to gain possession. By deciding to try and hold what we had it allowed Palace the time to take control of the ball and game while they continued to overwhelm us with Balls into the Box. When that happens the pressure usually tells as it did on Saturday. Lets hope he learns something from it but I'm getting the impression he's hoping for something good to happen for us, rather than setting us up to make it happen.
  5. Wilf was strong and agressive on Saturday, Something we've lacked for so long. If he can keep this side of his game going it will certainly make up for his lack of technical skills. Though his instinct to pass to Mav instead of shooting was sublime and shows he was willing to put the team first instead of seeking the glory himself. We just need to get Winks to deliver more in games and things should improve.
  6. He's still finding his feet in the Team but offered very little so far. I don't like him playing on the wing and certainly not instead of Mav. I think he could do very well in the hole behind Vardy.
  7. Definitely, Maresca is an elite Manager. If we'd have been able to give him the type of money we gave Rogers to waste we'd be top half premiership now.
  8. So is Mav playing on the right wing if VK is playing on the left.
  9. No Fatawu , That's criminal. The man hasn't got a clue about Management.
  10. Has the team been announced yet ?
  11. The squad should be good enough to stay up if we can score goals. That's the big problem I see we have is where are the Goals coming from on a regular basis. Vardy aside none of the others are prolific goal scores. The other big problem, Has Cooper lost the players if he has we're in big trouble never mind him. Players are not stupid, they can see if he knows what he's at or not. And everyone can see his tactics so far are flawed. So let's hope he can get something from todays game and bring a bit of belief into the players.
  12. We had better last season in Enzo and some people still weren't happy. I was really gutted when he left as I felt he'd bring us back up to top 10 very quickly. Now I'm not even confident we'll avoid relegation again.
  13. Lets hope you are right and he can stop him playing, Otherwise it's going to be a long afternoon.
  14. Who's going to stop Saka running riot, Victor Kristiansen . I doubt it. And Saka is only one of a quality Arsenal team. While I agree upsets do happen, the team has to be all on the same page which I'm not sure ours is due to the manager.
  15. We've got tostart picking up points from somewhere. I'm not convinced yet that Cooper knows how to win games. So we'll see how it goes.
  16. He'll certainly bring something different to our Attack. Exactly what I'm not sure but it will be interesting to see how he does.
  17. Shush, Don't mention that word, You'll give Soumare a Nose Bleed. He's only allowed walking mode. If he had any go in him he's be decent.
  18. We're definitely going for a Senior Citzens team at this rate.
  19. One of the big problems for thePremier league and EFl in all of this is they are both different legal entities. I'm not sure how easily they can bridge that anomaly unless they both addopt the same rules there's always going to be problems. The FA could possibly introduce such rules but the Premier league burnt their bridges with the FA years ago.
  20. There's many a case that's been thrown out of Court because the poice fumbled evidence or didn't follow the correct procedures as you say. You only have to look at the recent Letby case which is being challenged now.
  21. Very elnightening and thanks as knowledge is always useful. As I said I can only speak of my situation and in that case which did go to Court and the whole document was deemed flawed because of some of the clauses within. Whereas in the Clubs situation, None of it has gone as far as the Courts. Which I doubt it will do now as usually in arbitration both sides agree to accept the ruling.
  22. I totally agree, They can only change the rules for going forward, Not to then take retrospective action. Our case is done and over as I don't think they have any right to appeal the decision.
  23. They can be changed but obviously all clubs would then get to vote them in or not.
  24. Neither am I a lawyer, but I have had a similar experience with rules being found wanting when challenged. And it my experience if any part of the rules are found wanting then the rules in block are found not enforceable in law. Which is pretty much what has been found in our favor. Now that doesn't mean the same rules can't be used again with the offending clauses changed, amended or added to by new clauses. Which, I think is what the Premier league will do for next season.
  25. I would think so, As I think the rule states a rolling 3 year period which again let's us off the hook. It seems remarkable and nieve that they the Premier league completely failed to allow for Teams being relegated in the rules. A simple rule that said in the case of relegated teams the rule will be applied to the 3 previous years. Or a percentage of the 2 years are used instead of 3 years.
