  1. He must have learned something from tonights game. He needs to bring a better balance to the team as was shown tonight. Pick the right players in their best positions and let them play within the structure he wants them too.
  2. I'm not sure Cooper will do it as we're going to be under pressure in most games. But I would like to see him try it even in a game we're chasing a result.
  3. We have to see a bit more of him him, But I don't think he can offer us what Mavadiddi can on the wing. But we'll see over the season.
  4. I think Ayew can make a good pairing with Vardy.
  5. I've said it many times, I'd give him a go in midfield simply because he'd win more headers and tackles and can certainly carry the ball.
  6. I like Skipps movement, He's covering a lot of ground.
  7. A Few names I'd forgotten about, He certainly raised our profile in the Football world and there was a definite buzz around the place even if he didn't deliver. I agree, I doubt he would have got us promoted either, But as I said earlier, I think he had lost his Football focus by then. His win ratio wasn't that great 1 in 3 I think which ultimately led to his sacking. Who would have thought we'd have an England Manager managing little old Leicester City.
  8. I was referring to his time with us and clearly the facts back up what I said. Other than Kasper signing his time here was poor.
  9. I hope he brought his Boots, We need him soon the way things are going.
  10. A true gent but I'm not sure he was much of a manager. I think his focus was elsewhere. RIP. Sven.
  11. It sounds like he'd rather be here than in the States. All that sunshine gets to you eventually. I think his wife has a big job over there in her chosen career. Not an easy choice for him.
  12. Bournemouth at home or Southampton away. But we need to change tactics between now and then. Especially that we have a few new players in the team.
  13. Not quite true, VK lost a challenge which he should have put into touch. 3 quick passes later we're picking the ball from the Net. We were transitioning to attack mode at the time which also caught out Fatawu and Faes which left JJ exposed 2 v 1.
  14. Very worrying if he can't sort out the midfield. We got beat yesterday because Fulham played the game basically in front of our midfield, While our players were playing a low block. How Cooper couldn't see that early and adjust the midfield accordingly. Though a big part of the problem is we don't have any muscle in there. The Italian lad isn't a tackler no more than Winks is. That leave Wilf trying to be everywhere. If you are playing a low block you need to be disciplined to hold your positions regardless of what the oppossition do in front of you. We didn't for either Goals. The 2nd goal is the best example, JJ stepped up to try and win the Ball without having cover and got beat by the first time pass that beat him. It was a great move by Fulham and very poor from us.
  15. We've paid a lot more for a lot less player.
  16. Much as I'd hate to see him leave, If we're not going to play him we should move him on before the window closes. He's on a big salary and still worth 10 to 15 mil. Cash in now instead of leaving him sitting in the Stands all season. We at least owe him that for his excellent service.
  17. Yes, In his defence, He was also caught 2 v 1 when the ball came down his side quickly. Does he dive into Smith Rowe and give away a Penalty. If VK had of won the header on the left side it would have been in touch and the whole situation changes. Those are the small margins at this level.
  18. You can never take preseason form as a given, Some players tend to put more effort in than the seasoned experienced players, Who have done it all before. Cooper should know that, Plus Ricky was badly injured in a preseason game before, So likely coasting through the early games. I agree with you on VK. It was him who lost out in a challenge which turned over possession that led to the first goal, Yet JJ is getting the blame. He's too inexperienced at this level, Though he keeps trying. But really, we've been so poor down our left side that I'm amazed Cooper can't see that. And it's decisions like that, that will get him sacked.
  19. That's what I took from his comments, He wasn't happy with how he's been training. Plus he said we'll see what Ricky can do. Well we know what he can do, He's been one of our best players for years now, Hasn't he been looking at any videos of our games over the past few seasons.
  20. The poorest performance today was from the Manager. He clearly had a right nightmare today. Poor Team selection followed by poor Tactics followed by poor Substituations. You've got to go after your winnable games and that was winnable today with the right personnel. The only plus was Skipp is going to be good player for us.
  21. Faes should have scored again.
  22. There isn't even a forward Pass.
  23. You can't wait until you're losing to make changes.
  24. A poor goal to concede.
