I haven't seen the Pod Cast I must have a look. She's an amazing woman and still goes to Thailand for one week each Month to oversee the whole KP operation from her office there. We're are so lucky to have her.

As stated below by Cosbeh Fox he got lucky, Maybe Pearson did or didn't approve him.He definitely had control over football matters. The one's who signed the players was Pearson and Walsh. Most of which went on to win us the Premier league. Pearson would never accept players being foisted on him. Least of all by Ruskin as they didn't see eye to eye. Pseason was also great friend with Sir Alex at the time which is why we got Drinky and Matty from Utd. As for Rudkin he knew nothing of the workings of a Dof. He was just in the right place at the right time. He even asked Pearson for a list of his football Contacts. Which I believe Pearson told him to politely Fook off. Is it any wonder we've paid way over the top for some very poor players we've signed since. Who would you suggest is responsible for that and the mess we're now in.

https://www.tfwa.com/tfwa-world-exhibition-conference/susan-whelan-100008535 Here's another very good article about her worth a read. She's an OBE as of 2022 and Premier league CEO of the year in 2021. A very well respected lady. She's also a Sailing Instructor from her young days. She'll be well able for the choppy Waters we now find ourselves in.
-
She's actually Senior Executive Vice President of the KP group of Companies. Second only to Tops Mother I believe.
-
Sorry to disagree, Pearson only agreed to go back to the Club on the understanding he had total control of Football Matters. Vichai to his creditis credit asked him to come back. The catalyst was the former CEO. I can't remember his name. If you new anything of Pearson he wouldn't have it any other way. Rudkin was Managing the under 18s I think it was at that time.
-
He was in charge of the football side of things, But he chose to only look after the dev squad and first team squads. I'm sure if he wanted him gone he would have been removed. So I guess Rudkin has him to thank for his job.
-
The only mistake Pearson made was not getting rid of him then.
-
Sorry to disagree but you're wrong. She has been with Vichai since he started the Company. Who do you think Top works for only King Power. His Mother is the top dog now whether we like it or not. Our best hope is that Top buys us as some sort of share transfer. Then he can run it as he likes.

Let's bring in the Màestro Pearson as DOF to bring in the right people and structures again to take us forward again.
-
It's a properly contested league unlike the Premiership. We're just so lucky we got of to a flying start and stole a big lead which proved vital in the end for us.
-
You can be certain Susan isn't going anywhere unless she chooses too. She is the Brains behind the while King power group.I She's a very experienced and highly taught of CEO.S I'd say she was told it would be no problem to move out the dead wood which has proved impossible due to the incompetence of others.

The strange thing is the Premiership have not placed any fine or embargo for last season because we were no longer a premiership club. I guess they could in the coming weeks do so if they wish. But it would have to be separate to the Efl. Legally it appears the Efl made 2 mistakes. One placing the embargo on last season's premiership spending and two jumping the gun on this season before the Accounts are published. I wouldn't be surprised if we find a sponsor to put in a hefty investment along with player sales to make us more compliant be the Accounts close for inspection.

That would be illegal, As it would amount to collusion. You cannot conspire to put a any company out of business. Plus it's not in their rules currently.
-
The 5.0 nil shattered their confidence. Probably a lot of infighting in the dressing room.
-
Yes, Somewhat Damed if they do and Damed if they don't.
-
I fancy Hull tonight simply because they are more physical than Ipswich. Though Ipswich are better attacking, So it should be a great game.
-
Hull can still creep into the playoffs if they beat Ipswich tonight. It should be a great game to watch as a neutral.
-
That seems much more logical and avoids them breaking the Law. So I guess we can offer Vardy and Wilf new Contracts if we have a mind too.
-
I doubt very much that it's enforceable in Law. Some of the legal eagles on here can explain more than me. The ban is against the Club from signing new players. The players already with the club have a right to negotiate new deals each season otherwise it can be seen as a restraint of trade which is illegal in Law.

He's certainly done as you say and coasted through the season. Is his contact up this Summer, I thought he had another year to go.
-
Sometimes you look back on a season and you can pick out the game or games that made a real difference. For me the West Brom game and the Southampton games stand out. it wasn't always pretty in the West Brom game but our dogged determination won out with a big thank you to Hamza who really showed how much it meant to him by putting his body on the line. In the Southampton game it all came together beautifully with our commitment and tenacity which just blew them away and of course our five wonderful goals. Sadly we'll lose a few players from the squad for next season but that's football. We move forward and upwards again, it seems like we've been here before.
-
I'd hate him to damage his reputation here. If he stays for another season it has to be on a much reduced Contract, We can't repeat the mistakes of the past not even for him. We will need a new Striker anyway. I'd be happy to sell Daka and Ignachio and go with A new Striker, Vardy, And Cannon. To provide the cover.

I'm going to miss the Championship, You don't get results like tonight or us vs Millwall And Plymouth in the Premiership.
-
I'll bet there's no first team player injuries for Monday except Praet. Who'd want to miss that game.
