  1. If Ricky doesn't play against Spurs and we lose, Cooper will get slaughtered by the Fans, And rightly so. Ricardo and Fatawu are comfortably our best pairing on the right. With Winks and NDiddi in the middle. Why would he undo something that worked so very well for us last season. What Cooper should be working on is developing a similar strong partnership on the left with Mav where last season Mav tended to operate alone. I'm not sure JJ has the engine now after his injury to get up and down like Ricky does on the right. Which is maybe why he's trying Victor there. Who I don't think is good enough.
  2. The best way he can win over Fans is to win games. A good first Month will buy him some latitude while he gets his message across. I don't think the signings have been good enough, whether that's down to him or Rudkin I don't know, But he should be straight up with the Fans and call people out if he's not getting the support he was promised. Otherwise he'll likely carry the can for others failings.
  3. I can't believe we're not chasing players in the lower leagues. All great players don't start at big Clubs. We should be watching for the rising talent in these leagues and get them in early. There's bound to be another Kevin Keegan or Paul Walsh , Jamie Vardy Etc. down there. But you have to be viligant in watching out for them frequently.
  4. I didn't know that. I thought he always played on the Left Wing. Or else I'm losing it.
  5. Both very true, We definitely need experience in the Squad. Has he ever played as a 9. I've heard he's a moody type of individual, I just hope Cooper can get him onboard like Roy did at Palace.
  6. I don't believe we need him as Mav has never let us down. Assuming he does come here though, What happens to Mav, Does he move inside and take KDHs position.
  7. Vardy would never accept him here.
  8. Whatever about Tops involvement. Whelan is a very highly respected CEO in Industry and has won many awards for same, Not just in Football. How many Women do you know that has power driven a fledgling company to around 3 Billion pds Value. She's is the financial Brains alongside Vichai since the beglnning of King Power. A Company that's now woth around 3 Billion Pds. People are deluded if they think she's going anywhere, Especially when she's stated many times she knows nothing about Football. She just oversea's the financial side of the Club nothing to do with choosing Signings, Someone else makes those decisions.
  9. I expect the pace and agression of the premier league will catch him out quickly if he's not ready for it. I would have prefered if we gave Nelson his big chance. I can only think of one mistake by him in the games he played.
  10. I hope you're right because we've been too soft for to long. If he's any good he and Coady might make a decent partnership.
  11. They're probably the two most saleable assets we have along with Mads.
  12. More Importantly no Striker to lead the line, Score goals, Hold the Ball up, Bring others into play, Take pressure from our midfield and defence. It's a CF we need not another CB.
  13. Yes, One of the things I read in signing Cooper was his abilty to bring young players through. Yet he's given none of them a chance and in fact it seems he want's to ship them all out on Loan. Leaving it to others to develop them. While standing over the signing of inferior players or players maybe for the future, When what we need is proven quality right now.
  14. Granted he needs to be given a chance to show what he can do. I know it's early days, but he doesn't look like he'a another Fofana in the little we've seen. So is he going to be another crap player filling up our squad and offering very little. When we alreadu had a promising player in Nelson already here. It just doesn't make sense what's going on at the Club presently.
  15. At least him or Vesty had he been on the pitch would have cleared the Ball for the first goal which started the collapse today. There's no logical reason why we signed anther CB with the number we already had. Anyone know what this new lad brings to the team. Is it leadership, Pace, Strength, Footballer or what.
  16. I would'nt be surprised if he did as Manager. But I'd really like him to come back as DOF and set the Club on the right path again.
  17. I cant disagree with a lot of what you say. Unfortunitely the Club has wasted so mcuh money in recent seasons and nobody accountable. NDiddi I think is playing for the money now more than the cause. He's a shadow of the player he once was. Winks will be targetted as he's the only midfielder who knows his position. We're lucky in that we'll have 2 of the best Wingers in the league if used properly, providing width and opportunities for the Strikers. You can't win Matches regularly without a proven striker and we don't have one other than Vardy. Cannon was useless when he came on and not good enough for this season. Cooper is no Enzo but he was experimenting again today as he's still trying to figure out what he has got in the squad. I would'nt be surprised if there's another friendly during the week, even behind closed doors. We've signed a few for the future when we need quality right now. To have any chance of survival we need a proven quality goal scorer. Personnally I'd go old school. Someone like Ulloa, Big strong and mobile, Good in the air and tidy on the ground. Who can also hold the Ball up and bring others into play while giving defenders a hard time. A strong midfielder who can play a bit but also dish it out to the opposition in challenges. A new LB to cover JJ although that new lad Oki could play there. But I'm not sure why we signed him with Nelson already in the squad. The first Month is crucial because we have some winnable games. If we don't it will be a total meltdown.
  18. The level of effort from most of the team today was unacceptable. Cooper needs to hand out a tongue lashing to many of those who played. In a strange way it may be the result that galvanises the team against Spurs next week. But leadership starts from the Manager and I have'nt seen enough from Cooper yet. He needs to get back to basics while he gets his idea's across to the players. Vesty looked our best player roday when he came on and I expect to see him start now against Spurs.
  19. I don't think I've seen us as bad as we were second half. I don't know what they were doing in Evian for a Week, It wasn't drinking Water. It's like the squad and Manager were sampling the finest French Wines or Cognac last night.
  20. This starts with the Manager playing players in their best positions. The time for experimenting is over now. We need everyone pulling to gether.
  21. I wouldn't read too much into it. I think it's a case of knowing what he brings and saving him for next week.
  22. Definitely not, O Neill could be quite flexible.
  23. More likely to Fall over the Ball.
  24. He has a big Ego, I just hope Cooper can get inside his head like Roy did and get the best from him. Exciting yes, Risky, Very. On the other hand, I'm not sure we need him with Mav doing so well on the left. I'd much prefer we sign a quality goal scoring Striker to add Goals as Goals make points.
  25. Fair enough that's your opinion and I respect that. He may develop further but only if he listens to the Coaches who's trying to help him.
