Yuck. Another game where he will waste the first half. Not sure this manager has any new ideas or tactics to get the best out of them. Let’s keep playing the same useless players the same way.
-
The bottlenecks are obvious in every game. Hopefully Marti has worked on this and we don’t have another wasted first half. If it’s the same line up and tactics as the last game, to me it shows we have another manager who doesn’t have any tactics other than pass around the back until they finally pass to Fatawu.
-
This but with Page instead of Ayew. I would rather have the energy and arrogance of youth than the “experience” of an average player who continues to be a burden to the team. JV needs to stop his slow walking football and get the ball to Winks or the wingers first time. Thomas needs to start to pass forwards and overlap otherwise he’s just another useless boring player.
-
This is frustrating to watch every game and it just be frustrating for Fatawu as well. Then he just blasts it to Ayew who sends it back or can’t control it while Soumare jogs away. Jakob is so slow or scared to release the ball quickly. Many times he could throw it out like Kasper did to the wingers and bypass the chuckle brothers football. Monga deserves someone of quality behind him to put him in space so he can run at the ball. Soumare had the chance to do that last game and passed it behind him. Due to our players/tactics, he is getting a lot of practice at having to beat a man from a still position. Something he pulls off quickly, calmly and looks to drive forwards, unlike Mavadidi currently.
-
He is having to do too much work because he hasn’t got the tactics and the correct personnel around him. Him and Ricardo worked great for the goal two ago. Hopefully that will change when Ramsey/Page, JJ and Ricardo play more often and to each others strengths. The manager needs to get to the next chapter in his manual and learn about fullbacks passing the ball forwards and then carrying on running on to support and draw players away.
-
It’s the equivalent of someone saying like or um, it’s a filler before he starts to work out what to do. To me it’s a sign that the attack has now been killed. I feel the talk of him making driving runs is just a cope and now a myth repeated to defend him. Nothing ever comes from his runs, he never threads the ball into space for the winger to run on to, it’s always behind them and the attack is over. I hear the windows shut down music once he runs with the ball.
-
He would always ignore a 1-2 with VK last year. Greedy player who thinks he is better than he is. I used to like him and he is good at this curling shots. Tries too hard when the first time shot or cross is on and walks away with nothing.

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
Richmondfox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
This works if the player playing the false 9 passes the ball when they hold the ball up and drag players away. Ayew is a selfish player but doesn’t have the talent and ability to be that type of player. -
He is crap. I think we are beyond making excuses for players anymore. That’s why the club are in a mess. He has been here for 4 years and 4 managers yet looks exactly the same. Shit
-
Slows everything down by doing that stupid roll while he brain processors what to do next. On the edge of their box Winks had to scream because he was just standing there and couldn’t decide what to do. Watch him closely and you’ll see that he can never decide what to do until it’s too late. He stands watching Thomas try and defend, gets beaten then decides to jog after them then floats away. He did a slow ambling run from deep in the second half, slows down, rolls the balls and passes it behind Monga who had already started to run into space. He had to stop, turn round and it kills any break. How we have gone from KDH to this clown is embarrassing. Brain dead player. Shows how far we have fallen when people praise Ayew for working hard by hogging the ball and falling over and this clown for running slightly.

The Enzo ball from JV to Ayew is causing us problems. JV invites the pressure, blasts it to Ayew who can’t control it or just sends it back and Soumare zonal marks wherever the ball was a week ago. -
He seems confident enough to do 4 step overs and twists and turns. Marti needs to get him and Ayew practising first time shots and passes all week. Both players will work extra hard to make the situation in front of them harder.
-
He offers zero assistance and support to the wingers. Unable to pass the ball forwards and never runs forwards into the space we constantly have in front of the winger. If it’s tactics from the manager it isn’t helping our attack out. I think it’s a bit of both. Maybe he the manager has asked him to not push on of Ricardo is further up, but when a winger has two men on him it space ahead, it’s such a waste. Look at how easy it was for the right side of Cov to attack constantly. Simple 1-2 and they were in.
-
The same with Monga. He got the ball and jogged forward with it, Monga was running in space and he passes the ball behind him so Monga has to stop and turn around. Everything he does is useless. Puts so much pressure on other players by passing blindly to them or making them shift out of position. Happy to send the ball back under no pressure for the back to suddenly come against a press. Him and Thomas stink out the left hand side.

Things happened when they passed the ball quickly to Winks. The Enzo ball doesn’t work with Ayew or Soumare in the middle. hopefully they can get JJ on the ball which will allow Fatawu and Ricardo to get into space. It’s so frustrating as we have half a team that are more than capable of punishing a team, but it all seems to laboured and overplayed. -

JJ, Winks and Ricardo looked to drive the ball forwards. They need someone behind who has a brain and a sense of urgency. The Thomas to Soumare pass constantly killed any attacking momentum. The mistakes are obvious every week. Hopefully the manager and his team start to address them. I don’t think he will, otherwise he would’ve by now. Ayew and Mavadidi need dropping or learning how to play first time. Thomas needs to spend all week kicking the ball forwards with his right foot and everyone else learn how to blast a ball at the goal. Hamza and Soumare can share the Nintendo DS brain trainer. -
It’s all well and good giving him time, but as fans the same issues and mistakes are happening since Cooper. It wears thin seeing Soumare mooch about like he can’t remember if he has left his gas on and Ayew being Ayew. Thomas kills everything on the left by not even bothering to pass forward or offer support. I was jealous of Cov getting behind us with a simple 1-2 with their winger and full back. Just by creating an overload into space where we create overloads in crowded areas. While he has made changes that have improved the team, he is still making the same obvious ones which are still hurting us.
-
Yet we didn’t, again, The comments are because what we are seeing every game is becoming a trend. The time for cope is gone and the foreshadowing is correct. I hope I’m wrong but until Ayew and Soumare are out of the team and players look to run into space instead of stand back, waiting for the ball to pass backwards and not attack, results won’t change. Ayew stinking every game out with the same tactics and play. Soumare and Thomas linked by the same brain cell and Mavadidi trying to do everything and ending up with nothing. As soon as Ricardo and JJ went off we lost all drive. Monga is a bright spark but he has a tired Ayew, brain dead Soumare and Thomas who wont pass forwards and prefers to stand back and watch from afar. What are Martis tactics and style of play. Pass the ball to Fatawu and hope he can skin everyone. He isn’t the saviour, at best he will steady the ship around playoff places. He came from QPR and didn’t exactly set them alight, unlike now.
-
Still not convinced. Same shit players playing the same shit way with the same shit tactics. No support for the actual good players once they get the ball It’s no different to Ruud and Cooper without the excuse of playing against world class players. Thomas is useless and unable to pass the ball or even move forward, Soumare is thick as mince and Ayew stinks out anything positive.
-
Too many players share the same brain cell.
-
Apart from that he’s done **** all as usual apart from hog the ball and fall over stinking out attacks.
-
Need to get Ayew off. It’s his greedy and selfish playing that makes it look like he’s working hard.
-
Soumare is thick as shit. Gets the ball and runs slowly, then passes behind Monga so he has to stop and turn around.
-
Can’t anyone just smash the ball.
-
The donkey worked his way in front had the ball and falls over. I can’t stand him.
