The fact that there isn't one mention of concern about how the club is being run which is certainly on the mind of most supporters is a clear sign that the club have had a say on this statement. The fans are to take accountability but say absolutely nothing about the fact that no one else at the club is doing the same? Pathetic.

There is absolutely no doubt that are FB's aren't good enough. I've been saying all pre-season that we need at least one more in but tbh, I'm starting to think it won't make a difference. Not in defence anyway. The way Marti uses his FB's we are always going to get caught out in the wide areas with a big switch on the counter because the fullbacks are up and in-field. We SHOULD at least make the most of it and have FBs that can attack though because just now we are leaving ourselves vulnerable whilst not gaining anything in attack either.

Bassey progressed because he finally accepted that he is a CB and not a LB. That's why he left because we had a different opinion on where his best position was and he's only now becoming the player he is because he's accepted that he was wrong.

Today was the perfect example of how ineffective he is when the referee doesn't protect him.

Ok, cool. There are some decent points there but there is no excuse for him repeatedly having Ayew come deep, play it wide for the winger to cross it into an empty box. It's constant and there is no way it's not a managerial instruction. How can he stand there and watch that over and over again?

Utter disgrace! The only person who walks away from that with any vlcredit is Monga. Possibly even Faes who i thought did well. Everyone else was shocking. Fatawu was who surprised me the most, he was utter garbage.

He's not got the football intelligence for that role, even at this level. It's not all about the physical attributes. The Ball winning midfielder needs to be able to read the game and predict what's coming so they can be where they need to be and he's never had this ability. That's why he is always caught out and commits silly fouls. Because he's always playing catch up.

Depends. If the clause insisted on all the money up front. A team may well pay more than the clause if the structure of the payments are more favourable. This is what PSR regulations have done.

It's pretty clear that everyone is for sale and with a handful of exceptions, I don't have a problem with it. The big question is what we plan to do when the swamp is dry. Are we seeing who we are left with and going to make a frantic end to the window to replace them or like some suspect, are we really in a worse financial place than first thought and are planning on limping on with what we have? I suspect it might be somewhere in between the two and we will sell who we can, see what we have left and make 4/5 loan signings in the last few days of the window and although it's not ideal, I can see the sense of it. As long as the loans are good enough it makes sense. Bring in as much money as possible, cut the wage bill significantly with more being cut at the end of the year with contracts expiring and get players in without risk, leaving us in a much healthier position next year for a rebuild. Unfortunately, unless the loan signings are excellent, we will be rebuilding for another year in the championship.

Everyone. We need everyone. LW and GK are probably the only two positions I don't think could do with improvement in some form or other.

I don't even care about being out of the cup. I'm far more worried about how bad we were. Also, a bit of a reality check about managing our expectations on some of the youngster. We cant judge them off one game but it's a reminder that the likes of Nelson and Alves are a long way off being dependable for an entire season.

I don't think so. Something is going on there. He played just a few minutes in pre season and missing tonight. There is something we aren't seeing.
