We all knew that sell to buy was going to be the case. I just hope we are able to keep Bilal, Mavididi and Fatawu. They could be a game changer. I imagine Faes will go. Ateast one of Vesty and Coady, probs the latter. Ndidi will go. Hermansen if we can find someone willing to pay £20+. I think maybe Soumare and VK will go on loan but hopefully permanent. Thats got to be around the £40m mark, conservatively. Hopefully that's enough to keep who we want to keep and get 1/2 CM's and 1/2 strikers.

He hasn't reached his potential because he has a Hamstring made of spaghetti. He has been injured for a combined total of about 600 days in the last 4 seasons. Missing about 92 games. ...and that's just his Hamstring injuries.

I just hope Dufkin and Top are open and honest with him. There is nothing wrong with telling him up front "there won't be much money, you might be able to spend on one or two but for the most part, it will be free transfers and loans." I don't think it will chase him away and everyone knows where they stand.

Their jobs in Scandinavia are pretty incomparable. Potter spent 7 years with one club building them to where they went from the Swedish 4th tier to 5th in the top and a European knockout game. Cifuentes spent a total of 4 years at 3 different clubs, in 3 different countries. Achieving what was set out and moving on each time. It's kind of like comparing what Phil Parkinson has done at Wrexham to what Enzo done here.

I mean, the guy has managed close to 280 games. By games managed, he will be our most experienced manager since Dean Smith. Yes, the standard of where he has coached has been varied but for the most part, he's achieved what has been expected of him at every club he's been at, which is why he's one of the only managers that we've been linked with who's career has been on an upward trajectory since it started. I think you are being somewhat dismissive of his job at QPR. Yes ultimately all he did was "survive relegation" but again, that was what he was tasked with doing. All you have to do is look at the general feeling towards him from QPR fans. He's still held in high regards. That's not very common in football, especially by one's who met the bare minimum like your comments suggest.

He really does just follow up on anything Percy says but spins it in his own words to make it seem like his information. Yesterday, Percy said we interviewed O'Neil and Wilder, an hour later, he says O'Neil is the front runner. Today Percy says Cifuentes is in poll to get it, and hour later, he "breaks" the news that talks with O'Neil has stalled and we are talking to Cifuentes. The guy is a fraud.

I'm excited by his knowledge of the Scandinavian market, which seems to provide some good value for money.... assuming we have any.
-
I can get behind this. This is OK.
-
Really?! Because I'm getting the idea that it IS Hassenhttl! Or at the very least, his agent.
-
Like the above poster said, I'm not sure if we can do it to a UK club but we done it with Perez to Betis, so we CAN do it.

It frightens me that I can't tell when someone is joking on here anymore.

I think we will lose Mads, Bilal, Coady and Ndidi on permanent deals, possibly Faes too. VK, Soumare and Winks on loan. I think we will sign 3 players. A back-up GK, a CM and a striker. Two on loan, one on a free transfer.

There isn't any. That much is clear as day. 3 failed managers, 2 relegations, 2 PSR breaches and a decreasing squad quality alongside a wage bill that isn't a fair representation of our ability. All in the last 3 years and not one thing has changed within the structure of those who allowed this to happen. That's why it really doesn't matter who our manager is if those above him are allowed to continue their show of incompetence with impunity.
-
This IS what Top has been doing though. In my opinion anyway. He's been sitting back and letting the likes of Rudkin and Whelan run the club for him. The only difference is that they are as clueless as him.
-
The Pedersen situation at SWFC is throwing me. Players are not being paid, notices of players terminating their contracts are going in, the manager is reportedly trying to negotiate his release and then you renew the assistant managers contract? The only sense I can make of it is that he will be head coach. Nothing else really lines up. Ofcourse this doesn't mean that Rohl is coming here but I do believe it suggests some sort of movement.

I feel like this is bait.

Sounds almost identical to Rodgers.

You're not prepared for that answer.

Carrick and Gerard would be my shout.

They can't take loans if they don't have money to pay it back. Fans are a big source of that money. Top cared enough to print a page or two in the matchday programme but not enough to actually change ANYTHING. As people who ACTUALLY care, I'm sure you would agree, that isn't enough. I'm sure you do go to support the lads and thats how it should be but the reality of it is that, THAT support, benefits KP and as long as there is a benefit to be here, they will be. No fans would hurt the club. You are right but I suppose the better question is, is it better that WE hurt the club for a year or two or THEY hurt the club for the next DECADE or two and to be quite honest, even with the fans, there is no guarantee that we don't go the same way as SW anyway. KP sure are showing signs of leading us that way and if we don't see a change, either in ownership of how they run us, it's likely it will. We need to FORCE change! If we keep doing the same thing over and over, so will they and neither is working.
-
Although I don't agree with name calling because he doesn't agree with your way of doing things, do you really think that KP care WHY you are paying hem thousands of pounds a year to show up? Do you really think that they care that you are audibly disgruntled with them as long as you keep paying them? You asked why you should stop doing what you're doing. What you are doing is what is keeping them here. 2 PSR breaches and 2 relegations in 3 years isn't enough to make them care, why would some sweary words from the people who are lining their pockets? Them sitting in an empty stadium every other week while thousands stand outside the stadium calling them sweary words.... thats more likely to get their attention.
-
I'm a Scotland fan. I like him. He seems like a good lad with a good attitude. I like that he's from Leicester and I think would care about the club. He works hard and contributes to play as a whole. But.... He's just not a natural goalscorer and we would not be able to rely on him for goals.
-
I've said it once and I'll say it again, the people that we are interviewing aren't the issue. The REAL issue is who is doing the interviews. Top is clueless and relies on Rudkin to run his club. Rudkin is clueless and relies on Top to employ him because no one else is stupid enough to let him anywhere near their football club. It really doesn't matter who our manager is and I refuse to get angry about it. I'm too busy being angry about the sheer incompetence of those in charge of our club and the blatant lack of accountability that they are being held to. I fcuking hate that I love this football club.
-
In that case... we are up to our nutsacks in good news!
-
That would make sense if we had someone lined up that we wanted in immediately but there wouldn't be much point in failing "by a little bit more" if we could just wait 5 days when we knew we wouldn't have anyone in anyway. It's just strange. We had two options and didn't pick any of them.
