I’ve given you an opinion or an explanation to peoples opinions. (They don’t have to match yours btw). In my view fake media cliches (when their only interest is clearly in themselves) matched that of the players performances all season - spineless and weak. That’s not ‘childish’ to be annoyed about. I agree with other comments about key moments of Maddison choking, but also agree that the relegation was the result of the team performance across a whole season rather that one player in one match.

The difference is the way Maddison put himself around on social media. He challenged people’s concerns that we were under threat of relegation (which imo wasn’t that bad - what else is he supposed to say?) My gripe with his post/comment was the one he made post relegation. I could have misremembered but I’m pretty sure he commented that it was important to ‘stick together’. This was said when it was obvious he wasn’t going to be sticking around. To me it was just a bit fake.

States on the lcfc promo page that they are obliged to charge for audio commentary as per league rules. It eases my gripes a little, but mainly redirects it towards the EFL. Bit of an overreaction from my point, but just shows everything to do with football is now about the money. Paying £40 to watch us play some garbage team in the championship or paying for the privilege of a radio stream. Think it’ll encourage me to spend more interest in my local non league club.
