I can’t remember us really being linked to central defensive players bar Souttar, which makes me think it wasn’t a priority. I just hope there’s a solid list.

His brother

Actually best of both for some, we have loads of the ball, but will have to be physical and switched on when defending. Prem clubs will see that more beneficial and as we’ve said loaning our players out we want them to have good experience and not be battling relegation etc.

Bristric winner from the bench

Didn’t sign scholarship then, big shame

Centre mid?

If that’s the standard we’ve got to look forward too this season at least it’ll be funny

The new vestergaard

People any good? Been loosely linked hasn’t he?

Feel that would have been announced when he signed for Man City if it was going to happen.

Great news he’s signed a new deal. Go smash it in league two ready for hopefully gaining a place with us 2 leagues higher next season.

Russell clearly loves him from that video they’ve put up. Wonder if he’s a great person to have around signing? Saw Blackpool fan comment he was always smiling. Hopefully trains well and pushes jakub and mccarthy to be better and always on it.

If both can get double figure goals that be amazing.

Add Richards and silko Thomas to that nervous list too

Guessing he can pass a football? Can he save anything?

We haven’t paid a fee which is good.

Full season in league two, hopefully score a fair few goals.

Lost again yesterday!

Hopefully announced tomorrow. Full week of training and in squad Saturday.

As a player not a fan but hope that’s nothing too serious.

Wonder why he was t in the squad yesterday?

When is his deal up? Next summer?

Didn’t watch the game so only off highlights. We score early and even though a cup game Northampton had everyone behind the ball still. Burns and Watson in brief clips looked direct when they came on, alves too, some good through balls by Cullen, Mavididi got in behind but for great tackle. It looked different to enzo team in that vestergaard wasn’t stood still on it and the ball was kept moving. Things to make it better and move it quicker are a central defender confident to break the first line into midfield, and a deep midfielder(maybe braybrooke when chaplain is fit) to receive that and break the next line. A striker that can be between the posts, Cullen put in a great ball that won the corner for our goal, only player in the box was alves from right wing at the back post. I’m pleased with bought in 4 attacking players so far. Hopefully the strikers next and things click a little more. Certainly wasn’t bored by the highlights. At 1-0 and Northampton sitting behind ball it looked a bit pre season friendly ish! tempo and atmosphere at Notts county will be so different, the players will be up for it as I think that’s the minimum Martin will get is they will run and try! The proper stuff is next week now and hopefully a new signing or two involved.

Wasn’t there talk Reuben was leaving?

Jah looks like he likes it into feet with back to goal, we’ve tried that pre season quite a bit from what I’ve seen but not had the forward for it when otchere wasn’t the striker.
