Agree.. we could still sign him and be psr positive with ndidi/coady/hermansen money. We need to ideally sign players if possible that can already make the step up to the prem if we get promoted instead of relying on soumare/skipp etc as they wont be good enough again. i assume there is a reason he rejected Ipswich, maybe heard someone bigger is in for him like the man utd rumours.

There are a few teams that have some excellent championship squads e.g the teams that the betting markets have put top 6 etc but then what splits these up is the teams with individual outstanding talents e.g our wingers in particular Fatawu who is good enough for the top level when fit.. if we keep him fit that will be the difference between automatics and playoffs 100% in my eyes.

Depends what chelsea want really… off the bench in a bottom end prem potentially relegation battle team or main number 9 in a top end attacking championship team obviously with blue tinted specs but surely he would develop more playing week in week out for us opposed to a struggling prem team but what do i know.

Probably true tbf and isnt a bad defence im not sure what else de marco could have up his sleeve… then when the independent panel gives us the verdict we might get a free transfer or loan in but still no money spent on fees.

i think ndidi goes and soumare at least on loan or just break even on psr for him …….. but i dont think we still buy anyone with how packed out we are thats why we we need to take advantage of a free transfer or loan market as the balance is not there for championship still - none of them will do what KDH did for us.

Isn't the german route normally taken when a player is not a premier league regular? I think it would be less likely he goes if he plays regular this season and is going to play week in week out if we get promoted THEN gets a big money move?
