Only 23 and about 3 or 4 years away from his peak maybe hes just reaching his potential more and more. Would like to think hes one of the best LBs in the champ next season.

Let him go if he doesnt want to stay and help us back up. Huge potential but wasnt amazing every game and will only sit on the bench at another club in the prem. that said if we are able to convince him to stay we should build the centre of the park around him and he will be twice the player if we go back up after further development in the champ.

If we have really failed to put some sort of relegation severance release clause in his contract then its another bonus point to Top and Rudkins leadership masterclass. I honestly feel we are stuck with him if so.

no reason to get rid of him, he should be a monster in the championship under a settled partnership. If we sell him then it’s absolutely pointless investing in younger players if you boot them out after 1 season.

Im sure it will be down to who the manager is and who influences and convinces him a season in the championship would be good for his development.

With Man utd dropping their keeper and Chelsea also likely interested in Hermansen we can get a good bidding war that could lead to a loan coming our way in the champ.

Hopefully he gets all the post ACL niggles out in the summer and pre season. The clubs got some serious experience in this recovery with JJ, Ricardo and Alves and Braybrooke in recent years.
