Southgate steps down as England manager

It still feels weird that we need to get 'promoted' before we have a chance of winning it -
Southgate steps down as England manager

You don't think he'd take a pay cut to manage his country? It would be a fantastic opportunity for him. He's not exactly short of money already and he'd likely find himself in another decent job after leaving the England one. -
Birmingham v Rangers at St Andrews next Wednesday. I'd imagine there should be a decent atmosphere for a friendly.

Safe but smart. They really need to go back to their old badge though!

I don't think I've ever known a team to deserve something so much. Spain were just a class above the whole tournament. To beat Croatia, the holders, the hosts, France and England is impressive. I've loved what Southgate has done with the squad unity but it's time to get someone in to really take the talent we've got forward.

It'll be interesting to see how it turns out!

I wonder if he means squad turnover rather than style?

Where will you be watching the final?

Why not go out for a few pre match beers to take in some of the atmosphere and then head home if you're not feeling the crowd that is out where you are -

I'd imagine the short turn around time from the semi final meant it wasn't possible. But that would have been amazing. -
Got to say, the ''PAIN 100%'' and the actual grenade really made me smile.

£20mill I don't know how Man City do it.
-
I just feel its worth the risk of keeping him and looking to increase his value. Especially if Cooper is as good with young players as its been suggested as well. Even if he has a poor start in the Prem it won't stop the interest from the level of clubs we'd sell him to now anyway.
-
Not saying he will turn out to be anywhere near as good, but he scored more goals than Vardy did in his first season.
-
I think the criticism of him is a bit unfair. He started last season very well and never really got back into the swing of it after his injury. I'd like to see him stay considering it was only his first season, or if he is to go, make it a decent loan move.

Kids ones should be £20 max. They're the future fans and the ones you want on side and representing their team! Adults being priced out isn't a problem imo, but pricing out adults paying for kids is just completely shortsighted from the club.

Yeah mine has just come, almost identical to the card already being used and with the exact same details on the back. Piss take really. As for the letter I feel for those that can't see through the bullshit.
