We've booked Bromley in for the end of October now our Forest game has moved to the Friday night. Looking forward to another day out in London

That save in the first half was incredible!

I don't see why he can't play on the right side of midfield and link up with Fatawu and JJ and help cover both defence and attack. He's good on the ball and would make better runs at the defences with the ball than Ndidi, who isn't as good in possession. I think he'd help bring Fatawu into attacking positions better. On a separate note, I do wish Abdul would stop trying too hard to bend his shots when he's beat his man. So frustrating.

I quite like that Fulham's support is a bit different, but it's definitely gone too far the other way
-
Generally quite good I thought. Fulham as bad as you'd expect.
-
This is just another reality check of how much we've dropped off in recent years. However, I do feel he'll do alright for us.
-
I'd sooner get a bus/taxi/drive to somewhere that is allowing entry than walk somewhere to look at a closed fence
-
Why would you want to make it "not nice" I really don't see the problem with it being in the same county tbh. You say fenced off from the world as if anyone could go in as and when they please down Belvior Drive. If anything, Seagrave is more open to the public with the games they play down there.
-
Albrighton doesn't say it was too comfortable in that quote. Yeah he says it was like a spa in parts, but that doesn't mean the players aren't pushed to better themselves or are "too comfortable". Seagrave isn't the issue imo, it's more likely to attract players, it's the people in charge that need to make sure complacency doesn't creep in because of how nice the place is.

The way I see it is that if every single person had the same mindset of leaving early, then the stadium would be like during lockdown or a behind closed doors game. I understand everyone has lives outside of city games and sometimes there's trains to catch, other events etc but there's clearly a lot of people that just don't care and routinely leave even when games are in the balance.

I've got huge respect for the 5 minuters. I'm more of a 1 minute man.

Youri at Brighton in 2021. It looked so simple at first, but it was so beautifully weighted and I loved the way it had Dunk scrambling. https://youtu.be/YZSBXAXHOjY?si=N8s3JUqR8a5olLNo (Skip to 1:20 mins in) I miss the Youri that played for us and cared, I'm still not over him playing for Villa
-
Still waiting on Ward's, but it would no doubt make this thread.
-
It felt so strange seeing him go long so often and you can tell he's had a full season of not doing that based on how many were misplaced, but he'll no doubt get better at that.

I've just remembered his effort to lob the keeper from distance It was about as convincing as that Willy Wonka experience in Glasgow. -
You'd never have known that was his first game at that level. It's going to be fun watching him turn players whilst he's still being worked out.
-
Thought it was pretty decent considering how much of the ball Spurs had in parts. I wasn't impressed with their fans though. I barely heard them all game

Madders just loves to be loved don't he That walk round at the end, I just can't make out if it was sincere or not. I didn't clap or boo, but got to say the east stand clapping his first like 3 or 4 corners was very strange. -

Dreading playing Brighton if this is the talent they're sending out on loan to us Thought he was brilliant. He covered plenty of ground and was almost a step ahead of everyone else when trying to get forward and create. It's exciting considering he's not had long with the squad. -
He's one of them players you just can't quite work out if he has bags of potential or if he's just pretty ordinary. Felt he was good today today overall and put in some good crosses. I'd like him to stick around.
-
Tidy appearance. He worked hard and looked lively. I still think there's a player in there and we should stick with him, atleast until January.
-
Love seeing him back to those levels Hope he can keep it up.
-
You'd have thought he'd gone Kettering.

What a man. He's exactly what this squad is missing. -

Feels a bit surreal today, like it's not actually our first game after promotion. It's been a strange pre season and with it being a Monday night it just doesn't feel 'right'. Hopefully I'm more up for it closer to kick off or walking down the ground though.
