That is a very good point & one that the big clubs probably use to convince youngsters to join them.

The youngsters need know that the chance of first team football is much better at the smaller club. Man C & Chelsea are famous for buying youngsters but very few break into the first team. I think Maresca is the type of manager who will give the kids a chance going forward. The bright lights of the massive clubs are hard to resist though.

The Academy has to be the most important part of any club. Growing your own is the only way clubs can compete against the mega money big kids !!

He has not been invisible at all. Coventry was not his best performance but Invisible is a gross exaggeration ..

It's all about balancing the books. Chelsea know what they are doing but Forest & Everton are just amateurs playing in a big boys world.
