I can’t believe you really mean that, success and disappointment are only ever temporary in a football club’s history. One thing’s for certain our experience of both is unparalleled in the game. I’d rather have this lifelong ride on Smiler than be an Everton fan at the hook a duck stall.

I’m in the HMS Piss the League bracket, mainly because I love the game, I love the club (if not everyone there) and the good times will roll around again.

It’s been a hard job to be a striker here with Vardy still at the club, he’s at the end of a long list of those who have struggled. I’d give him 10 games or so to see how he goes as the main man, this stinks of him going elsewhere and firing. It’s worth remembering that Wood was in Vardy’s shadow at one point.

It does look strong for the Championship but enduring a year in the EPL takes the edge off winning it.

I don’t think any other fan base has the roller coaster experience we do. Claridge’s goal, Deeney’s goal, miracle title win, winning 6 different domestic trophies this century, the 2003-4 season which was like Mike Bassett the sequel, “allez les bleus”, “watch it again, watch it again, that is outrageous”. I’m okay with the shit show at the moment because, in the words of Claudio “always comes the sun”.
