  1. Sincerely hope the 2 clubs aren't playing with a young man's dreams to sort their financial woes.
  2. 9am ferry to Calais and 10pm back
  3. I'm busted again
  4. Easier to get him to drink some of it.
  5. Sessengnon makes a lot of sense with his versatility and him holding the world record for hitting both posts and the crossbar.
  6. I was stating facts! Ward was poor in the relegation season but so were the majority of the squad, my opinion is his contribution doesn't warrant 160 pages of vitriol and the typically pathetic insult of "I assume you're voting Tory too" from someone I've never met and knows nothing about me.
  7. Just a different perspective, if you have trouble dealing with that and resort to personal attacks I'll leave it with you.
  8. 😂 After those 2 games he kept 6 clean sheets in the next 8.
  9. Just checked the stats and Ward conceded 1.76 goals per game in the Prem, less than 6 of the teams for the season just gone and made 1 error leading to a goal. He's really not as bad as he's made out to be.
  10. Why would it work for him to be tied to low wages for 6 years?
  11. Their opportunity comes in the FA Cup and wherever possible they show the all Prem ties.
  12. Bit of snow, blue lines, orange pill and off we go.
  13. He had a blinder for Port Vale against us in Little's days, they scored from a miss hit cross after about 2 minutes and we threw everything at them for the rest of the game.
  14. Great if we could win it, we'd only need Lge 2 for every domestic trophy this century.
  15. The problem with your theory is that the most talented hard working players cost a fortune.
  16. Doris the refreshments facilitator if you don't mind.
  17. We offer him as much as he's willing to accept to terminate his contract. Some players have the amount written into their contracts, I spoke to Muzzy Izzett a few days before he retired and Birmingham were paying him 1/2 his wages for the remainder of his contract in a lump sum.
  18. 00:00:14 1st September
  19. That's just it, we go on to the semis, we'll be saying at the 2042 World Cup that it was much better in the 20s.
  20. Did they hell 😂 you think everyone was singing Venables' praises when we drew with Switzerland? or Hoddle when we stumbled our way through the group in France or Keegan in 2000, Taylor and McClaren failing to even qualify?
  21. Someone without a crystal ball, he was a back up who'd done ok when called upon.
  22. I'd say 2010-2022 (it was a steady progression to promotion in 2014 though) and a European semifinal and finishing 8th is hardly incompetence so you're left with a disastrous 2022/23 and bouncing straight back along with the FFP. It's worth considering how we, as fans, would have felt had we not invested in transfers and wages over the years leading up to this, we're hardly alone in the FFP boat.
  23. Or owners who deliver the most successful period in the club's history and get hung out to dry when the chips are down. Reading are a good example of what could happen if KP sell. Their fans would be delighted to see Madejski back.
  24. It's soccer! And I for one can't wait to see Phil "the Dream" Foden tieing the match for the Manchester Blue Socks @ London Crusaders.
