  1. Same birthday as me and Monga so it seems. I'm just 26-27 years older than them hahahahaaa Page in the same boat as Evans really then. Not a lot been said about him though. I'll ask Guy Branston 😂
  2. Whilst they are dropping off, the total amount of losses for the 3 year cycles is reducing too. For 25/26 it'll be down to £61m and then if we don't go back up then 26/27 will be just £39m.
  3. Was rather hoping we'd have offered Louis Page a pro deal. Think he's 17 now too.
  4. If Evans isn't signing a pro deal, I think he will have to inform both us and the EFL this week.
  5. Yes, he's given them all £100k a week
  6. The attendance makes very little difference compared to say ours, let's be honest.
  7. Just think the pinch will still be felt. 3 year losses to the end of 25/26 is only allowed to be £61m and if we don't come up, only £39m to the end of 26/27. Feels awkwardly difficult.
  8. Barry-Murphy is a club appointment and RvN had little to do with it. Similar contacts to Maresca is his stint at Man City is anything to go by. This wouldn't be my preferred choice to be clear but if we are absolutely skint then it might give us more momentum than RvN can evoke given how abysmal last season went.
  9. The cheap option should be taking a risk on Brian Barry-Murphy. I just don't see how RvN can prosper here given what has gone on. There won't be many examples of success after such a heinous 1st season and then the way the club have treated him.
  10. It is true thst PSR prevents clubs from righting wrongs by throwing even more money at it. Whether that's fair or not is highly debatable. I've very little sympathy for us and I seriously doubt we'd be looking to a healthy future if we were able to spend freely right now. We're absolutely mingbeast.
  11. Our options out wide next season could be Mavididi, Alves, Monga, Evans, Fatawu, McAteer and quite possibly still have Reid and Wanya Marcal too.
  12. Cov beat them home and away every season as well.
  13. Which just shows the absolutely staggering wages and income lost from players running their contracts down / inability to sell such players.
  14. And equally as important is someone who is accurate in their judgement of players.
  15. Yesmah my worry is we end up selling Nelson for £15m and take less for El Khannouss / Hermansen to make up the shortfall.
  16. I think Hermansen will go to Man Utd.
  17. Billy Gilmour still looks like one and had a good loan move at a similar age. Braybrooke was far too good for U21 football at 18 and as you say, at the point of his ACL was more than ready but stupidly we played him in an academy game the week before the Jan window was due to shut and he was lined up to go on loan.
  18. Id argue Braybrooke suffered by not getting the loan he needed at 18-19 before he got his ACL
  19. I thought the £105m / £83m debate is in relation to the 3 years ending 2023/24? Hence why we were confident we'd not breached with the sales of KDH and Enzo etc. It's then assumed for 24/25 it drops.
  20. Interesting take. I disagree but have no experience of this. He is ready to play 1st team, which most 15-16 year olds aren't. I do wonder if such players would risk being stunted if they were to stay in the U23s and then go on loan potentially to a level below they're ability. I think the best chance of us keeping him is because he wants the opportunity to play at a very high standard at such a young age and we are likely promising him more than even the likes of Man City would offer him at this age (£30-40k a week when he turns 17)
  21. Stay with us for another season and play 25+ games in the Championship and decide towards the end of next season. He can't sign a pro deal until 10th July 2026 anyway.
  22. Whats odd is Kieran Maguire is very good pals with Nick Di Marco and Kieran seems to be the only one saying its unlikely the PL can pass down a points deduction to the EFL.
  23. Any banners or unsavoury chanting been reported at the polo this week?
