  1. Yes I'd take that
  2. It's almost double what we paid for him if they go up. It's tempting. With Le Fee signing as well and a very good manager I think they stabf a chance of going up. Dilemma. I'd want £7m + add ons from Sheff Utd
  3. Done OK the last 2 seasons but not anywhere near how good he was at Frankfurt.
  4. Yeah both are fully in the wilderness but they've been here before and then had ridiculous spells of form again, especially Silva.
  5. Both Jovic and Silva seem to either be absolutely mustard or hideous at clubs. Both due another good spell 😂
  6. Luka Jovic or Andre Silva loan
  7. 5 year deal means we could buy someone for £13m and be no worse off. Cannon is supposedly on quite decent wages too. I'd look to the value countries like Brazil/Argentina/Denmark/Japan/Belgium
  8. If this is genuine, you'd seriously have to question the direction of the football club if 3 of our 4 CBs (presuming one of Faes or Okoli is being sold) are comfortably north of 30, doesn't bode well.
  9. I think a strike rate of 75% is good, anything more than that seems highly unrealistic even with favourable transfer budgets.
  10. He's had some absolute howlers against us over the years as well and the fans take great pleasure in singing so.
  11. Oh I agree, I highly doubt it happens. Ruud's not exactly been gung ho in throwing academy players in, he's only putting them on the bench when he's exhausted senior player availability and his decision to not include any vs QPR was extremely disappointing.
  12. Amad Diallo looked dog shit for Rangers and is now arguably Man Utd's best player.
  13. I still have us down as about 50% success rate on transfers since 2023 with a handful as not applicable/jury out: Success: Winks Hermansen Mavididi Fatawu El Khannouss Bounanotte Failures: Coady Reid Skipp Cannon Akgün Edouard N/A / jury out: Doyle Casadei Ayew Okoli I'll praise the club for a 50% success rate given it was probably lower than that for 2021/22 and 2022/23 but it's still not where I'd expect it to be and there's a case for both Winks and Mavididi being suspect at this level for us but offset by changes in players fortunes at clubs such as Skipp might go on to do well here but at present looks horrifying business and Ayew has done OK but could go on to be a shrewd signing if we get a few more important goals and points out of him.
  14. Stranger things have happened. McAteer was barely playing League Two and then Enzo used him in the Championship right from the off.
  15. Aaah so it turns out he can't go on loan again this season as the U21 Papa John's Trophy game he played for us in August counts as an official game which means he's played for 2 clubs already this season. Shocking state of affairs, but let's hope Ruud likes what he see's. With Hamza likely off, Skipp not doing well currently and Wilf injured, he's not a million miles away.
  16. Who's choice was Steve Cooper? The press make out it wasn't Top, so that pretty much leaves Rudkin as the most likely. The cost of removing Cooper and the shift in transfer policy that resulted in the likes of Skipp, Ayew, Reid etc at this stage does not look like good decision making.
  17. Book value is yearly I'd have thought, so we'll have two years worth booked to the end of 2024/25. (£3m in total with £4.5m remaining). So any sale above £4.5m in 24/25 means we'd book a net profit.
  18. I'd only sell Okoli if two things occur, 1) we get a fee above or equal to what we paid and 2) he's not settled and wants to go back to Italy. Faes is the defender we should be trying to sell and possibly Coady if anyone would be interested but I'd probably look to move him on in the summer rather than now.
  19. He's got a book value of £4.5m, although weren't we supposedly offered up to £10m in the summer but Cannon didn't want to go on a permanent?
  20. PSR I Love You the sequal in cinemas from 14.01.2025 A romcom set on an industrial estate in the midlands, UK. Ed Harris stars as Jon Rudkin.
  21. This is where I'm remaining cautious of any celebration. I find 22/23 outcome highly unlikely to be overturned, I cannot believe they've appealed it as they'd have to prove 3 very senior lawyers got it wrong. But there's no clarity that we haven't breached 23/24 just that no charges have been yet. Or am I misunderstanding it?
  22. Said it before, there'll be clubs that'll think if they can iron out his lapses in concentration and cashless that they'd have a top class centre half and he'll have clubs in Europe that would want him. We need to be sensible on price and recouping our money isn't the most unreasonable demands I've read from us over the years. I also don't think he's on stupid wages either. Got a feeling this happens.
  23. You'd expect a culture that's excellent for academy development if one of the most influential personnel at a club has an extensive background in academy leadership who's gone on to be a DOF. Have we got that? My vision for Leicester is that we become pound for pound the best academy in the country based on not being the biggest club but having the best training facilities, best academy coaches and best ethos that develops players in to 1st team football to give them the best platform to progress. I've read and heard all the excuses why we can't do that against the big boys but truth be told I've seen scant evidence of it being a major priority for our club in terms of serious investment in order to do so. Like with many things I think we've got lazy from where we were chasing the dream a decade ago.
  24. Prat is a term of endearment round my way and anyway, our fans are arseholes.
