  1. I personally think he was an absolute liability when he was ever deployed there. A walking penalty giver.
  2. Need a big game from Winks and Soumare, we need to win the midfield battle and try to nullify the threats through to their attack. I recall Winks being very poor in the 2nd half at Selhurst Park and we eventually paid the price. Him and Soumare are the only twio viable players right now for that position though. Bounanotte and El Khannouss have to play together. It's no coincidence we keep losing football games that Jordan Ayew starts in, he can't get near the opposition. Stolarczyk Justin Faes Okoli/Vestergaard Kristiansen Winks Soumare Bounanotte El Khannouss Mavididi Vardy
  3. I'd be amazed if i ever see a clean sheet from us again in my lifetime. I'm only twelve as well.
  4. Yes he can play for another team who's season runs differently to summer to summer.
  5. Get Braybrooke back and on loan again. Some moves just don't work out. Kasey McAteer barely got a sniff at Forest Green Rovers and was only marginally more successful at Wimbledon but he at least played more and then came back and Enzo used him immediately.
  6. Garry Gannan
  7. Hahahaaa I've got amnesia when it comes to bacon n egg
  8. I like the sentiment Daggers but truth be told I'd struggle to maintain any enthusiasm at any other level or club. I don't attend LCFC games as much as some as I've two young kids so it's not even having the match going outlet that is needed, but for me the whole driving force is I immerse myself in LCFC. I think about us day and night, it's synonymous with the most important things on my mind constantly and whatever I do it seldom changes. Steve Cooper did a good job of dumbing that down bless him but it's back with avengence again and it's a love hate relationship 😂
  9. Bit of me this is. I was actually looking at him two weeks ago as he was mentioned on a scouting page I follow.
  10. Hmmmmm see i think his mistakes do effect him. Never forget his gaffe away at Watford and then he really struggled for a number of games (the whole team did to be fair). He's integral to how we want to play but there's just something a little bit fragile with him at times and it's magnified in a team struggling but I'd hoped he'd be a leader of sorts after witnessing the pitiful demise of the class of 2022/23.
  11. I'll never forget Blackburn at home in about 97/98. Genuinely couldn't see anything more than 10-15 yards which when you're seat was on the half way line was not very handy 😂😂😂
  12. He's very energetic, he'd be the type of modern striker that this team needs.
  13. Oh he was, they were both signed as we'd just capitulated to a pathetic relegation with characters who went missing and had zero leadership. Winks whilst a squad player at Spurs was commended for his maturity in his play and they'd hoped would go on to be captain material. I'm being harsh on him this season I know I am but he's been poor in two chunks of games this season. One of the few good things Cooper did was briefly drop him as he'd been pony and we got a reaction. He was very good when he came on vs Southampton and his form picked up. Since he's come back from his injury under Ruud he's struggled again, I really thought we were missing him as well but he's made a clutch of mistakes and he's annoying me.
  14. If we're doing it properly that would be fine, it would be one of a group of academy players we bring through year on year and we reinvest etc.
  15. Couldn't give a monkeys chuff about what the score was today, my footballing principles do not rest on whether we win or lose a game.
  16. He should have started because it's essential for his development and we have two massively more important league games this week that if we fail to pick up at least 4 points we're facing likely relegation. Academy development should be one of the non negotiable principles of this club, without doing so over the last 5+ years we'd have been in an even bigger financial mess than we're in now. We've got such little squad value and whilst selling academy players is a sorry state of affairs to comply financially, it's one possibility we simply have to be alive to. But more importantly it's a source of players that should be at the epicentre of our club culture, what the fcuk is the point of our training ground if it isn't. We have a DOF who's background is literally building a decent academy and yet seemingly does not command that we be the best we possibly can at academy development to first team. I'm sick of it. There's not one single part of this season I can take any enjoyment out of. Maybe the odd flash of brilliance from El Khannouss who'll be off in the summer. It's boring. Don't think I've ever been more disillusioned with what I want from my club. Wish I could pack it in and care about something else, sadly I can't.
  17. I do question him and Coady's mental resilience and leadership, both of which they were brought in for. I think they're chancers personally rather than warriors who get their team across the line. He was excellent last season and he ought to be integral to the way we play in the Prem but he was rightly dropped by Cooper for some tepid displays and then came back with a point to prove and looked much better. He's been the pits under Ruud so far IMO.
  18. That was because we decided to leapfrog Luke Thomas over him. Bassey had been very good for the U21s as well as had Thomas but we got that one badly wrong.
  19. Ruud said two weeks ago he's been excellent in training. The culture at our club is diabolical and it's got to change.
  20. This is where Rudkin fails us most in my opinion. The one area he has some credibility is in building an academy and I'd expect a culture here from him as Director of Football and Academy Director that our non negotiable priority is bringing academy players through. Yet it evidently isn't and I'm sick of the lot of them. I really wish I could have a brain transplant to stop caring.
  21. Absolutely pathetic not playing him today. We've two huge league games in a week and no new signings either. I really hope there's a loan move lined up for him imminently rather than leaving him out for the some of those on the bench who we hope will be off by the end of January. Not good enough Ruud
  22. Recovering from an ACL, perfect for us.
  23. He's the type of hold up striker that we haven't had in years. He's still quite raw and Inter won't let him go cheap so out only hope is we convince them he'd be better off on loan here than Serie B.
  24. Quite possibly
