Those querying why managers might come to us with a possible points deduction - the pressure is off. They show up well (possibly as a 1st time manager in the Prem) on a points per game that pitches us out of the relegation zone on a level playing field and they'll pick up plenty of admirers.

In advance.

Very decent in that regard at Swansea, less so at Forest.

Get me a manager who loves him and we'll forever be in paradise.
-
Good grief I think I'm going to be horribly right for once.

I know what you're saying, there's a question mark in that regard. It's why it's more tempting to go for a manager even more unknown or unproven as they " could " be out of the box successful. The thing is, those managers usually need a club that they don't have to massively overachieve to do well (see Enzo) vs a Corberan who's taken a bang average Huddersfield to being robbed of a place in the Premier League and then worked with zero money at West Brom and got them in to the play offs. I like him, I think he's got something about him that blends a tactical mind with a strong degree of flexibility that gets the best out of the group of players he has. He's more versatile and he also seems to be a great man manager. If he's the pick then I'm content. He's a 7.5/10 pick.

Obligation to buy, he has very little choice. He isn't the first player to be on the cusp of permanently signing for a team who've had a change in manager. This is where his fellow team mates will be on hand to chat amongst themselves and put everyone at ease. The show goes on. He'll be in the Premier League where most players want to be and we'll no doubt pay him very well, we always do.

Moyes will probably bide his time before he returns to football. I don't think we're as unattractive a proposition as some are claiming but managers who've been employed for several years tend to take a break of at least a few months before going back in.

Enzo might let you down, but we won't do -
Survival for one season is not the be all and end all. This club needs rebuilding in a manner that frees the financial burden we are in and enables us the flexibility to progress. Whether that's achievable remains to be seen but that's got to be the target over short term fire fighting to stay up.

Enzo was part of the first lot of managers linked wasn't he?
-
It seems logical to me that the new manager comes without the requirement of compensation but Carlos Corberan would be a sensible choice. Plenty to like about him but he also comes with a few question marks (most managers will) Johnny Heitinga ticks all the boxes of: • cheap • wasserman client • possession football • track record of developing young talent

I'm not so sure they will. You could argue it was essential we got promoted last season and therefore the appointment last summer had to be a safe one. It was anything but.

8 goals from central midfield for a crap team isn't bad. His lack of creativity this season is something to consider though. KDH wasn't ever what I'd class as creative either prior to playing under Enzo so perhaps there's something the club think they can work with. He strikes me as the pure box to box type player we are missing though rather than a ball progressor.

Big Brussell man me

Look at the state of Farke an'all, can smell that coat he wears from here.

Enzo will be extremely impressive in his interviews I suspect, as will McKenna. Enzo has that aura though that them clowns that run Chelsea will swoon over.
-
It's days like today that I really wish we hadn't won the league and could instead enjoy a proper occasion to get promoted...... that's what Leeds fans have been arguing right? This is the real quiz. Hope they both somehow lose.

Hahahahahaaaaa as if

If we can afford this lad then I dread to think what we're up to. I'd love it though 😂
-
To be fair, he possibly did and perhaps was told we'd be OK.

Sssshhhhhhh

Those upset if Enzo goes, channel this anger towards those that allegedly didn't tell him of our impending financial problems. It's been quite clear since January that it was the beginning of the end for him one way or the other.

Who do you want for next season in the PL

Nice shout. I was looking at the J League a few weeks ago and put up 3 midfielders who I think can make the step in to a top 5 league in Europe. I'd looked at Kawasaki as more defence minded midfielder and he seems to have it all.
