We badly need the international break and yet by the time we return the pressure applied due to our financial problems is likely to have grown, so it'll be somewhat different than rests we've had before. Enzo has tweaked things and worked with certain players very well previously and we need him to more than ever. He needs to reflect as well as the last month he's been poor as a manager in my opinion. Handled situations very naively, bordering on arrogant and stubborn which happens as a manager and hopefully he is humble enough to do so. Selecting Faes today who has been minging in recent weeks, had one of the worst 1st half's I've seen in quite some time for a defender and kept him on was staggering. Likewise his continual refusal to use the bench when we're running on fumes. Really concerning, as I have said he needs to learn from it and I'm confident he will. It's rare we go behind and get anything so to do that twice is a positive, as is Jamie Vardy. I think once again many of us have thought the writing was on the wall for our greatest ever player and yet he just goes on one of those streaks of his and makes a mockery of the game. I absolutely love the man like I love my children, he has a higher power than god who's crap in comparison. Some dreadful performances littered throughout the team today, hope some of them really give their head a wobble between now and the Bristol City game. Sunday is a free hit, genuinely can't muster the emotional intelligence or energy to care about that just yet but I will come next weekend. I still do not know at what point in a players under performance across x amount of games would Enzo drop them or replace them in games, Mavididi, KDH and Faes have been diabolical now for a few weeks. It must be frustrating watching from the sidelines, some of which will be players he might have to rely upon next season with our financial problems and yet he's jeopardising that relationship at times. Don't get it, especially after some of the fringe players performances away at Bournemouth, who to a man were superb. We'll take the point and move on. 4 from 2 games is OK, keep that up over the remaining 9 and we should get promoted but even that will be close, we need to transform again ideally.

They were immense together vs Bournemouth.

Gerry McCann's? OUTSTANDING that is

Yesh I get that but Justin has been really poor at LB/LCB recently. His better games have come when played on the right in 2024.

Finished 4-0 Good result that is! In other news, think some scholars were released this week. I've what I've heard is correct, 1 of which is a bit of a shock. -
He was unbelievable up to Christmas, started looking very good again of late too.

U18s 3-0 up at half time vs West Brom. Jake Evans with a brace, other goal Omobolaji -
That was over the Christmas period I think. Things change fast in football but we don't really benefit from there being that many games left in which to do so. We are in for a test of mental character for the next 2 months and we cannot falter.

It's the teams that sat back on us and sucker punched us successfully that bothers me (more than Ipswich and Leeds) as these teams have confidence that's the way to get to us and comfortable doing it. Rosenior is a clever manager, happy to go defensive if needs be but also has technically proficient players in the final third. We cannot be as lacklustre in front of goal today, the art of being clinical comes from the environment the manager and staff create and that's something Enzo needs to improve on significantly. It may suit us if it were 0-0 1st half but that we've built up the desire and momentum to be pushing for the win, rather than start really well and once we're a goal up we coast.

Hull have earnt a few scalps by being defensively tight and waiting for teams to lose their discipline and shape and counter. We are food and drink in that regard right now and cannot allow what Middlesborough and QPR did to us.
-
Leeds are a fascinating case because they spent significantly in 22/23 (although they also sold Raphina and Phillips for to offset about two thirds of it) and last summer they largely loaned out their players so they must be running close to breaches for 23/24 unless they manage to sell a few before the end of June.

1000 likes and we don't breach PSR -
We were double digits clear of 2nd and 3rd less than a month ago. I'm not saying the pissed away part is final, we have 10 games to rectify it and let's hope our poor form is now a thing of the past because unfortunately for us it has come with less time to correct than Leeds and Ipswich had with theirs.
-
What do you tell the fans who worry about us as well? The fact is we've pissed an unbelievable lead away and aren't in the best of form. We have numerous injuries and had one of the worst weeks off the field in quite some time. Massive game today, let's hope Enzo reminds them of that. Pressure is here, no point him trying to downplay it any longer. He needs leaders and he needs to start with himself.

He'd previously been at Man City, we got him 2-3 seasons ago. He's played various positions but mainly full back / wingback. -

Currently 2-1 down. Silko Thomas opened the scoring from a very fortunate penalty. Luckily below to watch online. https://kick.com/everton -

Brilliant news. -
Mavididi will score and we will win, hopefully one of them perfectly executed scuffers.

O'Hare main target in that regard surely. -
Mavididi will bag tomorrow, I reckon Silko Thomas will have a shot at being on the bench too although Wanya's performance at Bournemouth puts him in contention still too.

That was not a personal insult, I enjoy your posts. It was a joke, I apologise if that's not how you've received it. -
FA Cup please, might well be the best shot of a major trophy we'll have for quite some time.
