QPR home pre-match thread, 3pm Saturday.

Have to agree, even though its difficult to criticise a philosophy that places total trust in giving young players a chance. I just think if there has/is mentality issues then we need players like Coady. He was excellent vs Bournemouth. -

Another injury between the press conference and the game it is then. Absolutely wild. Don't worry though we'll pass the leadership over to Coady instead...... oh wait. -

Enzo's been pushing his luck playing Ricardo in pretty much every game. Let's hope he didn't pick up an injury...... -
Jack Rudoni is a decent player. Really surprised Helik has been benched by Huddersfield.

You said earlier this week we won't lose again this season.

Looks like a star in the making, wouldn't cost more than £2-3m at this stage either. -

Kel had one of those performances on Tuesday that just when you'd completely washed your hands with him, he's now back in consideration. His hold up play and link play is second to none. But I still don't see where he gets a game. Cannon disappointed me vs Bournemouth but he's the future of this strike force. -

Of course, there's a time and place for it. The occasions I'm thinking are against the likes of Leeds and Ipswich etc where we've applied a high press and hold slender leads but we seemingly don't have alternatives on the bench that press as well (E.G Cannon doesn't do it as well as Daka and McAteer as well as Mavididi) so you need to safeguard the result. -

We will win the next 3 league games. -
It's likely to go down to game week 41/42 at the earliest IMO.

I think Coady will start, wouldn't be surprised to see Nelson start coming on to see games out as well. The set up for the final part of the Bournemouth game was very interesting. -
Even if he was, he'd have had a 40% pay cut. He's signed a new 4 year deal this season, so perhaps it's reduced even further but they'll be a clause in there that it goes back up to x when if we are promoted. I've a mate who got fined for a speeding offence and pretty sure it was a weeks wages after tax and deductions. Might be some truth in it.

Who do you want for next season in the PL
Ric Flair replied to Fightforever's topic in Transfer Talk
Grim. What a waste. -
Considering we seem to be sailing very close to the wind on FFP, I am nervous that us pursuing compensation and us fail to get promoted and possibly fail FFP ourselves will be a very awkward and damning position to be in. Many will argue its a consequence of being effected by Everton's rule breaking but we surely couldn't claim there was nothing we could have done.

It should increase Enzo's confidence in using the squad to see out games, we are so much more effective with fresh players able to maintain the same intensity. Let's go smash the next 12-15 games.

I actually think Leeds will drop points at some point in the next 3 games.

Looked fcukin rapid an'all. Increases the fee we should get at tribunal.

Thursday / Sunday is possible.

If it is Leeds then a) they don't get the opportunity to narrow the gap/increase their lead over us the weekend of 15-17 March and b) if they beat us they'll have another re-arranged game to face and we'd have the opportunity of playing that before them and put pressure on them. I am comfortable with this, although I think we stand a chance of beating Chelsea.
-
Gives Leeds if they lose to Chelsea tonight and Ipswich a chance to cut our lead even further though. Not sure what's the best outcome for us really.

Wanya Marcal signs new contract until 2026

Much better from him. If the end product sharpens up, or at the very least the desire to take the ball forwards without fear then he's an option to use off the bench. -
