  1. Do you genuinely think we won't have breached 2022/23 rules? It's stacking up that it's inevitable, but I suppose someone has to be the violinists on the Titanic here ay pal? 😂
  2. Last January's transfer business was mingin' and I'm not talking about Tete. At least his was just a smallish loan fee. If we were that close to the brink then signings should have been loans, and I can't help but mention for the 500th time in a year that we tried to wedge Jack Harrison over £100k a week and Leeds £20m on top of all this. I've absolutely no sympathy for us. Any fan who's spent evenings gobbing off at Everton and Forest on social media recently, will you be doing the same about us if and when the time comes? I will lol.
  3. Sadly think there's something in this, it won't help that he hasn't had the team built around him or at the very least hasn't been made to feel exactly part of the long term future here by the reluctance to use him in late Jan/early Feb when we had opportunities to do so.
  4. We'd have to submit 23/24 by end of December so that any punishment can be concluded next season (which may also include any punishment for failing 22/23 as well)
  5. His two goals he has scored were from shots thst will have registered low on the xG scale but I can recall at least 6 absolute sitters he's missed this season. Him and Casadei together must have an xG about 10 goals higher than actual.
  6. Which the press reported at the time that Susan Whelan had to get involved to get the deal done.
  7. Haha not sure. He must be doing one tomorrow before they set off to Hull.
  8. Probably not doing one because of the furore around our financial questions.
  9. And yet rejected a bid for Iversen last summer.
  10. I shouldn't find any of this funny but I can't stop giggling at those who will happily hang their hat on Percy or Sky when it comes to transfers but the veracity on anything remotely negative is immediately questioned. I suppose journalists don't lie about good news, only bad news.
  11. Depending on how much we need to raise to comply, here is some rough valuations we'd need to sell our players for just to break even (i.e remain the same under PSR as if we were to keep them). Hermansen - £4.5m Ward - free Stolarczyk - free Justin - £1m Faes - £9m Coady - £5m Ricardo - free Thomas - free Kristiansen - £9m Souttar - £9m Nelson - free Winks - £6.5m Hamza - free Soumare - £7.5m KDH - free Mavididi - £5m Fatawu - £14m (not sure if his permanent transfer would count in 23/24 on 24/25) McAteer - free Daka - £10m Cannon - £6m It's essentially all on KDH to raise £25-30m. We could possibly flip Hermansen for a £10-15m profit if we are lucky, Faes we might get back what we paid for him and a £5-6m plus on the books. We certainly aren't making money on any of Souttar, Soumare, Daka and co. It's absolutely desperate. Perhaps that's why Ben Nelson is being fast tracked in the hope he impresses teams enough to chance £15m + on. Another sorry day in the history of Leicester City.
  12. Probably because the low ball fee Brighton offered doesn't cover our shortfall......
  13. Does he also play 5ft 4 wingers up front too?
  14. All sounding very ominous but what many predicted.
  15. Yeah it's baffling because the total control philosophy doesn't actually happen as it did earlier in the season so I'd love him to explain the hypocrisy.
  16. And we don't play the bulk of our remaining games against teams in there until the latter part of the season so hopefully some of them are much closer to being home and hosed (Plymouth, Millwall, Brum, Blackburn)
  17. The style of play wasn't the problem last night, we just played badly after a bright start. I don't take much notice of fans grumbling about our philosophy when we are poor, they'd be doing the same under an array of different types of tactics. Fans hate poor performances especially on the back of a run of poor results (where certain performances were much better). My focus is more on what Enzo can tweak / get better at. It's a mystery why he's stopped making 3+ subs around the hour mark to apply the same intensity as he did in the 1st 15-20 games and he needs to move heaven and earth to learn the art of getting his team to be more clinical. Certain managers have that knack and its not just down to the quality of a player. For all Brendan's faults, his teams score a higher % of goals from chances than the average decent manager. And finally, I hope this comes with experience but he needs to tweak his methods that drum in to his team that when you are chasing a game and you're not creating much that there's some variation in the patterns of play. More aggression is needed, I'm quite surprised for an Italian manager that we are the way we are in terms of mentality but again that may change in time.
  18. Maybe so but he's actually played over 100 1st team games and there's no excuse for it.
  19. Still concerned about Enzo's in game management, after the Bournemouth game I thought he'd have taken confidence of the fringe players being motivated and capable to make their mark in games for us when needed but he's still reluctant to make changes. Someone else said it, but Hamza looked to be injured and yet he kept him on and it will be of no surprise if he's now out for the weekend.
  20. I thought he was excellent 1st half, but my god for a supposed centre half and 6ft + defender he is shocking in the air. I love his ability to control the ball though and get passes off first time and prevent the opposition getting in their banks of defence.
  21. Enzo's best work has been in the international breaks too with certain players and tweaks.
  22. We don't have many traditional full backs either though. Nor wing backs to play 3-4-1-2. I tell you what, the 1st signing I'd try and make if we go up is Trai Hume. Ideal for the system we play and he's very strong.
  23. He's shown precious little interest in doing so and JJ has been pony recently. Hamza has been excellent vs Leeds and Bournemouth so I really don't get the calls to drop him. Rest him if we had options fair enough given he's played a lot in quick succession but his performances have been better than most. As for his off the field antics, I'm certainly not happy about them but we're our fans saying this about Wes Morgan when he got done? The club will have done what they see fit.
  24. Scruffy but comfortable 2-0 win for us I think and then free wheel in to the cup before a well needed 2 week break.
  25. Agreed he might be running on fumes but who plays that role with Ricardo out?
