  1. Philogene going back to Villa due to the cheap buy back clause?
  2. That 1st goal has been a running theme of the goals we've conceded this season though. Either poor attempt to get the first contact and then we aren't the ones to get the 2nd contact either. 44% of our goals that we've conceded this season are from set pieces. Also that 2nd goal exposed what I think has been the main issue under Rodgers and now possibly Maresca, zonal marking. Nobody went to defend the ball as it wasn't in their patch. Crap
  3. Cannon masterclass
  4. He was last week too.
  5. True
  6. I actually think in this system he'd be decent. I was more impressed with his old fashioned defending and strength than I was him going forward and supporting the winger.
  7. If people are going to criticise Casadei for his performances to date then it's no surprise Yunus has and will come in for some stick. He's had less opportunities than Casadei but some of that is his own doing. I actually think on the balance of things, both have contributed in these two starts they've had, Casadei obviously with a goal and assist but his overall play has been much stronger. Yunus is doing OK, but it needs to be more than that to get a permanent deal IMO. As Enzo has said, he's struggling a little. How they thought he'd be strong enough as a winger that's expected to be threatening in 1 v 1's is beyond me but I still think his technical ability is what won him a move here. He can adapt but he hasn't got long to do it. His end product is off too so far but again that could change. I like him but can easily see him not making it here or in England. Hope he does though.
  8. How many injury time goals is that we've conceded and thrown points away this season? Seems to happen almost every game.
  9. Hahahaaa which would be fine if they admitted that we are a major rival of theirs. But they claim we're not, whilst opening parts of the Ricoh not seen open since Bon Jovi and offering free pop and crisps for the bairns up the cinema with our game on. It's wild.
  10. Yes we did, but even during those games, Leeds aside it was gilt edged chances missed by Iheanacho vs Sunderland that we got away with but then away at Middlesborough paid the price. I think we've evolved as a team better now, but it's still a huge blow. I hope KDH is on it these next few games coming up. As others have said, giving off odd vibes.
  11. Their recruitment model is admirable but no team will ever do what we did in building that 2015/16 side (regardless that we won it) what Kante, Mahrez and Vardy have gone on to achieve and even Wes Morgan and Schmeichel have been far better in the PL than anything Brighton have produced in goal or at the back. They're far ahead of us now but we in spells have done things that is ridiculous.
  12. Maidstone Utd, do it for The People's Hero.
  13. We have started to let teams have more and more chances against us but we are also now creating more ourselves too. I wonder if that's a natural trade off or if we have got a bit weaker defensively? I'd be interested to see a team who prevents the opposition having a sniff and creates what we do, if it's even possible.
  14. Wed have ended up paying double that even with a release clause.
  15. I would. He's come from coaching academy sides. The bloke don't miss a trick. He'll have been briefed on all and sundry.
  16. I'm thinking of going all in on Steve Ogrizovic.
  17. I am from Burbage and fcukin hate them.
  18. Is that confirmed? I'd presumed so but I read somewhere it's unlikely.
  19. Decent shot stopper and distribution seems a work in progress but signs he's got the ability. As a back up at this level he's absolutely fine. Reminds me of Winks and then Choudhury as the back up. More than OK to do a job.
  20. It's a good shout.
  21. Is that how it works when you bugger off after only a year? It's hard to fathom it out.
  22. Have we slept walked on Cesare? About to go bang? Goals and assists.
  23. Biggest away game of the season by a country mile.
  24. Got no issue with anything up to Doyle's injury. Since then I thought Nelson could have got a few more chances than he did, but to Enzo's credit he tends to give players a good amount of playing time when they come in so they aren't just snatching at bit part opportunities which is often difficult. Look at what he's done with Daka and Cannon. Their goals have left many of us scratching our heads why they weren't given opportunities earlier (certainly in Daka's case) but Enzo has let Vardy and Iheanacho have nearly half a season and if they now drop to 3rd and 4th choice they can't accuse him of not having given them a chance. Justin came in and has been immense since that return from the last international break. I'm just a bit surprised Nelson got absolutely nothing until recently. Anyway, today's performance won't have done him any harm, Enzo likely to reward him again.
  25. Quite liked the Albrighton, Yunus, Casadei and at times Ricardo passing and pressing pack. There's 3 players in there who can play a multitude of positions and it seemed to help free up Casadei to get on the ball.
