Alves loaned to Huddersfield - Official

100% agree. If he is only considered as a 8/10 then I have concerns about whether he will make it in the top two divisions in this country. As a LW, I think he has a good chance. -
If Faes goes to Turkey next week we might

Be keen to see how we function with him in the team. Looks like he holds the ball up and his finishing in the box is his strongest part of his game. We need to be able to get up pitch and create these chances. The comments he's extremely slow are a concern as that would appear to limit the ability to press but let's wait and see. -
Been crying out for a 6ft+ central midfielder who can tackle track his runners, pass well, progress the ball, arrive late in to the box and generally be the all round midfielder we need. Ndidi in part has done that in recent years but it's not been his natural game and Soumare whilst theoretically should do most of that, doesn't. A loan with a very modest option to buy is in theory one of the best bits of business we've done in a while so fingers crossed it works out.

Hopefully him and Briggs go on loan to Leuven -
Important to get an attacking midfielder in, hopefully Page still gets a good amount of opportunities and it'll be between the two to nail down the starting role. Ramsay can operate out wide as well. Pleasantly surprised by today's two midfield additions.

Doing the tour of the British Isles, go on Sammy. Was it Newport who he made his debut against for us? -
Absolute sausage, mash and beans signing this is. Almost faultless.

Our team is awash with a lack of pace which means we struggle to press and break on the transition. Was rather hoping we'd get a striker who meant we had a front three that was explosive but that does not seem to be his game. Hopefully good at holding the ball up and attacking crosses. -
Not sure if it's been mentioned, but had a number of injuries in the last couple of seasons. Hopefully he's over those but quite possibly what's effected his chances of success at Feyenoord where he seemed to start well and then got disrupted by injury.

Woyo Coulibaly (gone to Sassuolo on loan, official)
Ric Flair replied to davieG's topic in Transfer Talk
The saga of his signing in January and then how pointless it has been is a timely reminder of how badly this football club has been ran and the complete disconnect. It's also why it's pointless getting too invested in the hype of transfer windows, we're best not being able to make signings until we learn from our mistakes. -
Did similar with Cooper and CAA Stellar or whatever their name is last summer didn't we?

Brendan loves a broken player to try and fix, go on son
-
He has been out for over 18 months with a knee injury. It's a risk, but if he gets back to that level it's a player who is very good at this level. Suppose with only a few hours left it's a reasonable option. Ideally i'd be going for Breum from Go Ahead Eagles.

What are you basing the doesn't look good at all on? His one proper season he was a very dangerous attacking midfielder with about 15 goal contributions I think?
-
Well I can't spaaaake
-
Turkey and Saudi could still be a likely destination.
-
His wages must be £3m or more even in the Championship.

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

Yeah it surely is bollocks, otherwise how do you make up for past massive losses? -

This is the grey area, booking £10m profit in 25/26 or 26/27 should in theory be the same for the 3 year rolling cycle that both years are part of as it's the overall maximum allowable losses. However, from what chatgpt confirmed, you don't carry forward profit, only losses. -
We weren't aware until an hour ago that Betis have made a number of bids for Daka. We are not a club that's easy to report upon at the minute. Winks wants out.
-
Keep giggling he's called Eric Smith and not British 😂😂😂
-
I think Winks goes today
-
And maybe a left footed defender if Kristiansen/Okoli/Faes go.
