I think as mere fans we are always guilty of this. Things quickly change. From a moral point of view and when the transfer window was open, Winks future here looked all but done and therefore we were better to plan without him. He's stayed, he's impacted the game greatly on Saturday when Soumare and Skipp have flopped (not for the first time) so the temptation is to use his talents and not make the game otherwise even harder for ourselves?!

I am much better at finding a solid pace and sticking to it, rather than starting very steady and then trying to kick on 2nd half. Doesn't work for me. Although that said, i've been known to pick what I think is a pace I can stick to on the day and then i'm done by 15km and fall apart. Just do what feels right and hammer the gels 😂

If Soumare or Winks go in January for a nominal fee rather than on a free come the summer then it's got to be Besfort Zeneli. He's the complete package of a defensive central midfielder who can contribute going forward too, a but like Declan Rice. Excellent set piece taker too.

The reason I prefer Hamza as a RB is because his pace helps protect an otherwise cumbersome back four. I also think he switches off in midfield at tracking runners more so than he has when playing RB for us but maybe that theory has not yet fully been evidenced either way.
