Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)
Ric Flair replied to lcfc_forever's topic in Transfer Talk
Savinho is a winger, odd target for them given their other right wingers. If Spurs did come in for BEK, the agreed fee with Palace is £32m. Yes Bilal could say he only wants to go to Spurs but he also risks then having to stay here if Palace move on. Can only see Spurs coming in in retaliation to Arsenal getting Eze. -

Christ, so not only have Palace been demoted European competitions, they've got to do Conference League qualifiers too!! Astonishing. -
He's pretty robust as a defensive minded midfielder as well as being able to get on the ball and create. I'd prefer Zeneli for about 1/4 the price mind you.

Yeah it makes very little sense because Spurs still owe a good whack on Richarlison's book value and Eze's is miniscule for Palace. They'd need to be separate deals for that reason alone. -

Biggest concern from what we saw in pre-season is the pressing to win the ball back has vanished. -

Go get me Zeneli from Elfsborg for £4m and probably get that Rego from Benfica on loan (Jordan James would be ideal). Tell one of Winks or Soumare to find a new club. -

I'd argue they already have a closer match to Eze in Romain Esse that they signed from Millwall but he's not yet at the same level yet. El Khannouss is a similar player in the sense he's creative from the centre of the pitch but Dibling is a completely different type of player. I suspect this is doing what West Ham did to us on Hermansen with these other supposed bids for goalkeepers. -
Yeah thats what I was thinking and Brum are obviously his ex club who they really didn't want to have to sell.
-
Forgot he'd gone there, would be absolutely ideal but no doubt it's Birmingham and Wrexham

Anyone going the British Masters this week at the Belfry?

Tzolis having a superb game vs Rangers, wonder if they will try and get both done for the same amount as they sell Eze for. -
We can but it would just lead to a possible transfer embargo when we submit it in early 2026 which would presumably be lifted if we did then sell the required players to comply with PSR by the end of June.

Agreed

Funny you should mention this, it is my intention to do so. I am very good friends with his cousin and mentioned it to him last night.

Development/Youth Squads 2025/2026 Thread - U18/U21
Ric Flair replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Any news on why Evans wasn't part of the cup squad vs Huddersfield last week? Any relevance to contract negotiations or just back with the U21s for now? -
In Marti's defence, without any incomings he's severely limited in what he does to fix this midfield. He could try Page, which I hope he does but I still think it will be a weak area of ours. Ricardo and a motivated Harry Winks and things might not be as bad as they currently feel but both of those asks are highly unlikely.

Development/Youth Squads 2025/2026 Thread - U18/U21

Seems to coincide with us losing Nyoni to Liverpool, although scouts of elite clubs i'm sure aren't relying on all the clubs to put the games on YouTube. Don't know why I said it, sorry. -
Same for me to be fair, in theory I presumed this lot (with no further departures) ought to be good enough to challenge top 6 even with a 6 point deduction but there's glaring warning signs. Decline and implosion escapes no man if they have the attitude and mentality that we currently have, seen it before here and sadly will see it again this season if we arent careful. All enabled and fostered by an ownership and board that haven't made a single tangible change to the naked eye in the last 4+ years.

He's not worth £30m, if we get that i'll be very happy. -
