It would be a rare feat and I suppose West Brom getting any form of a deduction would make reaching 53 points difficult.

I actually think 4 wins wouldn't be enough, we are down already.

I genuinely don't care about getting anywhere near that level of achievement again, but I absolutely care about having custodians fit for purpose who can at least grasp when errors have been made and be serious about significant changes to remedy it. As long as we get that sort of honesty and something to be proud of then that's what i'm about. Major honours are a bonus, won't sully the achievements as they've been remarkable over a 29 year stretch but it's also why I don't think we are the smelly and unattractive proposition some of our fans think we are and that we should be thankful we've ever had new owners want us. Pathetic. There is no club like us outside the greedy 6/7. Have some fcukin pride.

Relegation, League 1, financial implications

That lad we had in our academy who's the richest footballer in the world. -
There will be things to look forward to if we can see the back of King Power. It'll likely be as a consequence of administration (in my opinion) which may feel like it'll get worse before it gets better due to the lunacy of points deductions, which as Sheffield Wednesday are about to experience, they double down when no new buyer is willing to pay an unrealistic figure to the ex owner/s who caused administration in the first place. However, if we do not see a change in ownership there is nothing tangible worth looking forward to. Aiyawatt has shown his complete disregard for righting the wrongs here, otherwise he'd have not promoted those who have been part of the major decline. Only a major shake up off the field could there have been any small chance of recovery, as he clearly needs help in running businesses, let alone football clubs. But that has been aggressively dismissed in these appointments a few months ago, bar the poor James McAaron who must be vastly regretting his life choices. I said it what feels like an eternity ago, but will have been within the last couple of years, that we are just having to wait now until this harrowing period draws to a close. We are wasting time but unfortunately we don't have a fanbase with the appetite to voice their disgruntlement about our club. Seemingly prefer to let nature take it's cause and take each experience as it comes, whilst asking out loud what the Tigers score is. I am so heart broken about my football club right now, I've been numb for a couple of years after it peaked in 2022 what we were on the precipice of. I went in to protection mode and the love and the hate was diluted as a result, to the point I have minimal reaction and emotion to every appalling decision from this club and every disgraceful mistake and performance. However, this week it has come back with a vengeance and hit me. Funnily enough when I saw Portsmouth go 2 nil up and you see their starting line up of 11 little known players who have handed Ipswich their harris's on a plate and solidified us in to oblivion. A team with professional pride, like Oxford too. Anxious and emotive about the high pressure situation of a relegation battle that sometimes will fall short but the effort and bravery often leads to what both team have shown on and off in these recent weeks. Not us, not fcukin us.

This covers from start to present day the years I've supported us. 1st season was 1990/91 after the phenomenon of Italia 90. I'd never have believed you had you told me all this back then aged 7, but not the achievements, you dream and believe those things, the position we are about to enter which will unequivocally be the worst period of our existence and arguably threaten our existence. That shit is wild.

Tube strike Tues - Fri next week, which if it goes ahead is going to cause chaos for marathon participants having to collect their gear from Excel beforehand. The Fri/Sat there is bad enough apparently and can take hours. I was intending to go on Wednesday as will be in London, if anyone needs their race number picking up, let me know 😂 -

Final long run before London done. 20.5 miles. Had to re-jig after being scuppered last weekend so slightly less taper than planned but i'd have been edgy if i'd not got this in beforehand. Felt like I had far more left in the tank 🙌 On to London -

Rowett is massively annoying me now with his team selection on players chronically out of form. Doubling down on this 12/13 players is beyond bizarre Get us gone -

Cardiff have shown this season that talented academy players can prosper, I just fear the overall health of our club and the mindset. It would be galling if we waste/miss out on this decade of hard work to develop the talent pool of players we have in the pipeline. -

Got a horrible feeling he will leave this summer and go on to have a very good career at the very top. We'll get a pittance. -

Is there anything likeable about us?
Ric Flair replied to foxfanazer's topic in Leicester City Forum
If we do it won't be because of our fans, we'll have to hope nature takes it's course. Our fans this season and to an extent the season or two before have been an utter embarrassment when it comes to demanding change.
