I've no idea if he'd had it days or weeks tbh - he's renown for being a bit of a nob . It was more the fact his blasé attitude to playing golf having had Covid recently that pissed me off. I'm five days in and still testing positive so no idea how long it will last. My wife's got it too now despite me isolating in our room and wearing a mask etc. Still feel fvcking shite. Losing weight I haven't got to lose and feel like I'm wasting away. Just want to feel normal again please.

It's four days since my first symptoms and I still feel fvckin awful. The sickness and nausea has gone but now sore throat, pounding headache, and zero energy. Still testing positive. I watched Rick Shiels and Peter Finch's video's of playing Marco Simone and the course ate them up and spat them out - lovely. Then I watched Jimmy Bullard play it on Tubes channel yesterday. Blokes a serious golfer ain't he? Talk of him trying to qualify for the Open next year.

You can add golf to that too. There’s always thousands of Irish at the Ryder/Solheim cup even if they’ve only got one representative. And then there’s obviously Cheltenham/Aintree etc. as well

It's more from a spectators viewpoint that I'm not keen. It's a big sprawling mass of a property with few natural amphitheaters which are essential for these types of events. Crowds too far away from the greens on many holes and the design means you only get people stood down one side of most fairways. I'm not a big fan of mountain goat golf courses and just thought they could have chosen a better venue for it really.
