Manchester United 3 - 0 Leicester City - Post Match Thread

He's full of shit and sounds like a broken man to me. I think he knows his time is up soon. I don't think he's capable of motivating this team or turning it around. He's out of his depth and most of us knew that when he was appointed. -
Never thought I’d say this but I really look forward to Mondays now. Kids at school, wife at work, house to myself. Peace and quiet to get on with stuff and no arguments, distractions. Weekends now are mainly being Dads taxi or visiting elderly parents. I live for the weekdays where I can play golf, go to the gym, and just do my own thing.

I'm not money rich but I'm time rich, and that's fine by me. I know a few wealthy people, some are happy but some are far from it. I don't think money always buys you happiness but it can buy you freedom and choice. Although some of the happiest people I know are skint. I think most people want to be rich because of the positive feelings and emotions it can give them, but many of these are short lived (experiencing a nice holiday, driving a fast car etc.) That's often just instant gratification, not a deep sense of peace of mind. I'm not sure I agree money is the root of all evil but I'd say the need for power and greed is. P.S. All the money in the world is irrelevant if you're too ill to enjoy it. Health over money every time.

Had his chance Failed Next
-
Maybe Ipswich deserved it?
-
Whereas Man Utd's question to us is "Can we play you every week?"
-
Garnacho just then = everything that's wrong with modern day footballers
-
But apart from that we're fine
-
Hobbling around is his norm I think
-
Fair play. And how they’re doing is the least of our worries tbh

The worst thing about a Trump win is that Turnberry stays off the open golf championship rota. If he’d just lose and fvck off out of politics for good then there’s a chance the worlds best golf tournament could be played on one of the worlds best courses again.

Thanks for the advice mate. I’ve heard similar about not doing accounting as a degree. I think shes speaking to her teachers all the time about her predicted grades - she’s obsessed by it. If I was her teacher it would do my nut in but I can’t fault her for being keen and wanting to do well. She was advised to go down the early entry route and I think Liverpool is her preference if LSE doesn’t come off. P.S. she showed me a job she fancies last night. Forensic accountant in NYC paying $140k Its good to dream I suppose

Thanks mate, She's hoping to do a degree in either Maths or Economics as it stands. She's also looking at Accountancy too, so something to do with numbers She also applied for the London School of Economics but I think you need 3 A's at A level for that and she's currently predicted A,A,B atm (I think) But looking at Muzzy No 7 comments above, it sounds like she's wasting her time with a degree in that area. I don't know what to advise her for the best but I keep hearing that Russell Group Uni's are good so I'm hoping a degree at one of those will ultimately be beneficial.

I know fvck all about universities but my daughter is in the process of applying to a few. Apparently she's been accepted into Exeter, Southampton, and Liverpool (providing she gets her predicted grades). They're all supposed to be Russell Group Uni's which I think are decent? The thought of her getting massively into student debt worries me although @reporterpenguinseems pretty chilled about it

But you get a free chicken burger and unlimited coke refills for that It's a fvckin joke though. I reckon they're trying to put off the local NYC riff raff through fear of agro, but it'll still sell out with corporates buying them. The state of professional golf as a whole is in a right mess with this potential merger and this winter TGL indoor simulation league looks pony.

Yeah come on @StriderHiryu you missed that bit. Go back and do it all again -
And here's me thinking I was in the Premier League thread

Don't like to admit it but quite enjoy watching Villa play. Really like their discipline, structure, and how every player knows their role. Pretty much the opposite of us atm.

What a tragic atmosphere at Spurs. You know it's bad when you can hear the players on the pitch more than the supporters in the stands.
