  1. No way a sharp razor is going anywhere near my wrinkly old ball sac. Trimmer with guard on at level 2 leaves a bit of stubble but clears the forest sufficiently.
  2. Same in golf. Most of the worlds top 500 are brilliant ball strikers but what sets the top 10/20 apart is the mental side.
  3. It was bloody impressive tbf. Clever stuff.
  4. Piece of piss that booster capture. It's hardly rocket science
  5. NZ win the first two races on day 1 in best of 13 series GB well off the pace and need to pull their finger out
  6. Anyone following this? First time in 60 years GB have been in the final of the worlds oldest international sporting competition. Ben Ainslie, Jim Ratcliffe etc, taking on the Kiwi's in what's known as 'F1 on water'

I read that the daughter was responding to texts from other family members to her dead parents phones pretending to be them, so no one was suspicious.. Absolute psycho.
  8. The old Oxford Manor Ground was a great away day
  9. Long live test cricket. Still the best format of the game IMHO
  10. Been a few months since @Alf Bentleyhas been around. Always one of my favorite posters, especially in Gen Chat
  11. This is true in my experience. Last season and this one I've taken my teenage son regularly and he absolutely loves it. It's still all new and exciting for him just like it was for me when I was his age. Eventually he'll turn into a grumpy, bitter old man like me, but it's nice to see him enjoying his youth.

It'll be like National Lampoons vacation when they get all that way there and find it shut

Fair play to Biden. He might be a bit incoherent but I sense he really cares and is genuinely concerned for people.

The briefing is talking a lot about 'words matter' and the fact phrases like 'downgrading' the hurricane from a Cat 5 to cat 4 for example is giving residents a false sense of security. I get the impression some people literally have no idea what's about to hit them.

Watching Biden, Harris, FEMA etc. doing the Hurricane Milton briefing. They're not fvcking about. This sounds proper serious.
  16. Well done Root, England's highest ever test run scorer I wonder how many years he's got left at the top - 3 or 4 more years? Can see him overtaking Dravid, Kallis, and Ponting but not sure he'll catch Tendulkar.
  17. Ah, I see. So once 232 is full they then open 233 and then 229? That makes more sense.

That hurricane about to hit Florida looks pretty scary.
  19. Looks like 4 of 5 blocks now sold out and a few hundred left in the final block. Would love to take my lad to OT at some stage to see us but I can't justify the price this time unfortunately. It costs too much to go PL games as a member as it is so somethings got to give...
  20. Ah yes, Jim McMahon, Walter Payton, William 'The Fridge' Perry etc. Wish I was still as interested in today's NFL as I was back in the 80's and 90's. Must have lost interest at some point and for some reason. A bit like F1..
  21. Anyone remember listening to the NFL on armed forces radio back in the early 80's? I think it was called BFBS and the signal was a bit crap on MW or LW. I used to listen on my little transistor radio in bed as a youth at some ungodly hour. Edit: I've just read @Golden Fox post above
  22. Warren Moon at QB? I remember him!
  23. My nickname at school was Howie, at the same time NFL first came on channel 4. The Raiders had a player called Howie Long and won the superbowl that year so being the glory hunter I am, I supported them. And they’ve been shit for the last 40 years since.
  24. I haven’t watched big brother since your bubbles, your Craig the builder and your nasty nicks. And that one with Tourette’s who got upset when someone killed a spider.
  25. I've never really been into this field but found myself disappearing down a Brian Cox YouTube rabbit hole this evening. What a great bloke.
