  1. Sorry Trav, you can't have two CIEIO's of the same farm

    Houses

Why do people view houses before selling their own (or haven't even put theirs on the market yet!) Had a bloke view ours today with his son. Feedback from agent was positive, liked ours best of three he saw, and now he wants to bring his wife on Saturday to have a look. When I asked the agent if they were cash buyers or in a chain, was told they haven't even listed theirs yet. Fvckin tyre kickers.
  3. I don't believe for a minute that Whelan and Rudkin aren't on speaking terms. You can't run a multi million pound business if Directors aren't speaking to each other - I don't buy it. They might not like each other but they still have to work together. It's not the playground FFS.
  4. You know football plays too important role in your life when you get passionate about squad numbers

    UK Riots

Absolute state of some of these cvnts getting banged up for rioting. Interesting how many of them are reported as crying in court when the judge reads their sentences out.
  6. Don't even need to paint them. Just do this so we don't look like Coventry's colors anymore.

    Ukraine

I wonder if Ukraine would be better off using their resources to kick Russia out of the towns they currently occupy, rather than invade them back. I dunno.

    The gym

Sounds like my gym. Used to be ran by Everyone Active but now More Fitness. £25 a month including swimming pool and fitness classes. Not sure if there are any around Leicester though.
  9. When you slow right down for horses and the riders don't even bother to acknowledge/say thanks. Stuck up fvckers.

    Depression

My sense is that it's far from taboo in most grown up workplaces. The larger corporate businesses that I work with take it very seriously and have trained mental health first aiders in place to support colleagues. Most businesses worth their salt know that it's a big issue and if they want to get the best out of their employees, ensuring good mental health among the workforce is vital. I'm sure there are some workplaces where it's sill a taboo subject but if so, they're miles behind the times and their leadership is failing.
  11. Yep, got the e-mail this morning. Closes 12pm on Friday. 2% again so about 60 tickets.
  12. Sounds like Thorpe threw himself in front of a train according to the inquest
  13. Indeed. They're not fvcking around and have big ambitions to develop the stadium and local infrastructure. They've made no secret that they ultimately want to be a PL club and I wouldn't put it past them. Interesting when Humphrey is interviewed though that he has to temper their need to go faster and he tries to be a realist in terms of timescales. I think it's a great story and I disagree with those who just say they're throwing money at it (they're actually losing money by building the temporary stand) If Reynolds can leverage his image and contacts to gain more sponsorship, income and eye balls on the club, then fair play to him.

    UK Riots

Every time I read about someone being sentenced, it says so and so, age, 'of no fixed address' I wonder how many people in the UK are 'of no fixed address'

  16. Very nice mate (P.S. you need to water your plants, they're dying)
  17. We were in Rhodes last year when it was on fire. Put me right off going back to that neck of the woods I'll be honest.
  18. I'll be amazed if they get Cameron on as a guest. Rory Stewart was quite dismissive of him in his book I thought and clearly isn't a fan.
  19. Yep, gotta be a cruise next time I think
  20. Really like Stewart and Campbell, I always learn loads listening to them. I thought Teressa May came across well with them tbf and also the Birmingham and Manchester Mayor's were a good listen. Not so keen on US version with Katty Kay and Scaramoochie. She's a bit over excitable for me and asks a dozen questions in a row. She needs to slow down, shut up, and listen more. I often watch James O'Brien's podcasts/interviews on YT. Just ordered his book 'How they broke Britain'

    Depression

Can you not get in touch with the outgoing course tutor for some guidance? I assume you've still got their contact details? Even though they're off to do a new project, I'm sure they'll be able to offer you some advice around next steps so you don't feel abandoned. I'd be banging their door down for help...
  22. Sicily was good but far too hot for me. 37-40 degrees every day from dusk til dawn and I just felt completely drained. Spent most of the time in my air conditioned room. Plus two teenage kids constantly at each others throats and the stress of driving/airports etc. didn't feel like much fun. Holidays abroad were great when I was young, dumb, and full of cum, but now they just feel like a hassle and a mission to survive. Glad to be home tbh. Jeez I'm turning into a right grumpy old bastard
  23. I’m guessing he might be in a bit of a rush to get them done
  24. Nice one. What did you make of the ground, atmosphere and everything?
