Tell ya what folks, that is bloody nice

The problem is we won’t recruit someone like Moyes, we’ll get someone like Russel Martin. I wouldn’t be against Moyes at all
-
He was proven at this level 5 years ago, he’s not good enough anymore sadly. Fatawu would create far more chances for this Konate but I doubt he’d finish enough of them

Musa v Barcelona if friendlies count 👀 -
Good player but too lightweight for English football imo, good luck to him
-
Does it? Does he need support personnel to tell him to get in the gym and bulk up a bit or spend some time with working on his physicality. It was obvious to everyone I think that for him to go up a level he needed to hit the gym and in 4 years he still has the same build and speed, league 1 and 2 wingers were bullying him last season until he does something about it he’s destined for a lower league career, which is a shame because technically he’s very decent. By the sounds of it he was more interested in playing snooker and going on the lash than doing something useful

The 50pts for renewal is mental. Loyalty should be rewarded but not at 2 and a bit seasons of away points. Since 14/15 up to last season we averaged 24.5 away games, including a championship season with 23 aways in the league, that’s over 2 seasons of going every away game to accumulate a renewal. Without this champ season we averaged 21.6 away games with 3 European campaigns, that’s 2 seasons and a third, how are non season ticket holders supposed to accumulate that many points? How are st holders who got one after 14/15 supposed to accumulate that many points? It’s a real closed door system and doesn’t even need that much tweaking to make it fair. It should be 3pts for st renewal, 2pts for membership renewal and then 1 pt a game. Those who go to every away game will still be top bracket and those who actually do go to away games when they can get a fairer chance of getting big game tickets over someone who has never been before. Also doing a booking history system within the timescale they agree so that if you went to games from 14/15 for say 2 or 3 years and then had to stop for whatever reason you don’t lose points if your personal circumstances change so that you can now go to games again, you still retain the game pts and the membership or sth for that time period. The club clearly wants a closed door system otherwise this would have changed years ago

Like that Tbf but keeper kit should be black or green

The most sensible move would be to sack the incompetent ****, how has he wormed his way in to a promotion after the off the pitch shambles he oversaw

It’s not even that his ego wouldn’t allow it it’s his body, hard to see him being able to string more than 10 games together at this level. Unfortunately for him that Rafa mir tackle has probably destroyed his career -

Get soyuncu back on loan from Atletico, he’d be brilliant in this system and a bit of pace to cover for the other centre halves -
Absolutely ****ing mint. Hope them fair weather ***** kept the receipts and packaging for all their brand new club shop retro shirts. What a ****ing weekend

If my aunt had bollocks she’d be my uncle, but he does and hasn’t played out of the premier league since getting promoted with us in 2014 playing 250+ games
-
Utterly delusional then, what is there that suggests this team aren’t giving 100%. Why would Marc albrighton give 100% when there’s 4 games to go and a leg break or acl tear could mean he doesn’t get a contract as a free agent next season? He can provide his experience and nouse in a dressing room setting he doesn’t need to be on the pitch and unfortunately he’s not good enough to be on the pitch anymore. Dropping our top assister and 2nd top scorer just for sentimentality is ****ing mental, especially for a 34 year old who couldn’t get in West Brom’s team last season
-
What sort of post is this 😂 do you think any professional footballer isnt 100% determined to get their job done, they’d double their contracts getting promoted. All the accolades are brilliant but you’re going back 10 years, he’s not the same player and couldn’t get in West Brom’s team last year hes not just going to come back into the team and save our season. Fed up of this romanticised Roy of the rovers clap trap

What the **** is he wearing

Easiest way to solve it is to stop with the inverted full backs. Teams are countering whenever Ricardo pushes into midfield and consequently when opposition win the ball back they’ve got a counter on with a gaping rb spot and Faes and Vestegaard covering. By switching to a normal back 4 they wouldn’t have the huge spaces left by the rb and the wingers would have support and be able to create overloads down the flanks with overlapping backs. The personnel isn’t really a problem, it’s the system and until that changes albrighton or Ronaldo aren’t going to make any difference whatsoever
-
No it isn’t, tell me the last time Albrighton was top of an assists chart or scored more than 2 goals in a season. If you think that albrighton is better than fatawu or mav even in bad form then I don’t know what to suggest. He couldn’t get in West Brom’s team last season so why waste time to be sentimental thinking it’s 2017 again. The current way isn’t working because the manager won’t play a conventional back 4 which would mean teams wouldn’t have half a pitch to run into and get at faes and Vestegaard, and also means that the wingers wouldn’t be isolated as they’d have a full back in support. It’s also not working because the strikers aren’t putting chances away. Albrighton wouldn’t solve any of that so why the sudden need to get him involved, it’s clear to anyone that the wingers aren’t a problem, it’s the system. A good manager would have won this league already with the same personnel
-
He hasn’t been given the chance because he’s not as good as those 2, and it would be pointless playing him against camped defences because his crosses would be lapped up by their centre halves. That’s 1 game, in which fatawu teed up iheanacho with the chance that was cleared off the line and the daka header in 90+6. He shouldn’t be in the team it’s as simple as that, love the bloke but you’re living in cloud cuckoo land if you think he’s going to miraculously turn our finishing problems. We’ve missed 78 big chances, that’s nothing to do with the supply
-
2.5 months ago against millwall reserves. Fatawu has created the most big chances in the league by about double and mavididi is one of the top scorers for us. Albrighton has never done that
-
How do I know, because I’ve used my eyes and it’s not 2017 anymore
