I’m both surprised and not surprised at the number of unsold tickets for this match. Surprised because we ALWAYS sell out man Utd tickets to the tourist fans, but when a regular seat costs £72 in the form we’re in who in their right mind is going to want to fork that out. I think finally fans are pushing back and refusing to pay. Yes season tickets are “good” value but how do you attract new supporters when cost is so restricting

Maybe the problem is this: when the Rudkin out chants started, the lads behind me starting discussing how bad it was that people were chanting Ruud out. Our supporter base is now a transient one, where there is no real emotional investment in the club there is an increasing level of customers who only care about what they see on the pitch and have no interest in the club as a whole
