Looking forward to your repeat post tomorrow, stick at it, it'll be correct one day.
-
Can't believe your doubting Jon, he'll get it sorted by September, no bother.

Safer to say "Tomorrows the day lads"

Wife's just put £2 on me being the next manager and I've gone straight to the top of the betting odds. Told her not to bother, I'm not interested in the job.
-
Leaving with immediate effect, probably means gardening leave until July 1st knowing our lot.
-
Aberdeen manager, won a cup in Scotland yesterday, finished 39 points behind Celtic, 22 points behind Rangers, and 5th in the Scot Prem, not the greatest advert for a Leicester Managerial position.
-
More chance of me getting a Brazilian above my todger than Rudkin signing a Brazilian for Leicester
-
United have used their luck up today, we'll smash it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bit harsh on Filbert Fox, surely it should be Jakub Stolarczyk has to be number 2, I do not care one bit, Iverson 3rd choice, then u21s keeper, then Filbert Fox then WARD
-
Everybody in life will have an exceptional spell in their career, Soumare had his against Ipswich and Cooper the clown, was taken in by it.
-
I'd forgotten all about Ward until I saw him play against Man Utd, having seen his performance, I've now remembered why I had forgotten all about him.

Steve Cooper's Premier League record Games 62 Won 13 Drawn 19 Lost 30 Says all you need to know, very poor record, 13 wins in 62 attempts as a Premier League manager, which he clearly isn't based on these stats.

Bournemouth (H) 1 - 0 -- Post-Match Thread (5 Oct 24)

Edouard was so poor when he came on, that when the ball smashed him in the face, I just thought, that's a crap header. -
Beating the crap around you is what will define our season, losing to the so called top 6 means nothing. This match has to be 3 points, nothing else will do.
-
Your right for maybe the first time, it is a team game, the team is told what to do by the appointed manager. It doesn't matter whether it is football or any other workplace environment, the buck stops with the manager. I'll say it again, Cooper has not won a Premier League match in this last 19 attempts, if you believe that statistic is not down to him then it is you that is naive and tunnel visioned.
-
Looks like you forgot, Cooper coaches / managers the team, picks the match day side, decides on the tactics, makes the in games changes, decides on the substitutes and therefore is responsible for the result.
-
No Premier League wins in his last 15 matches for Forest before he got the sack, no wins in his first 4 Premier League matches with Leicester City. Winless Premier League streak 19 and counting. Indefensible.

The week after Cooper is sacked

Competition: How many shots will we have against Tottenham?
v6rat replied to Mark's topic in Leicester City Forum
I'll need 10 shots of Sambuca just to watch the match -
He is reported to have been on £10k a week at Coventry, doubling this wages and on a free makes him a cheap gamble.

Sorry, I didn't realise that you don't do irony. Irony: the use of words to express something other than and especially the opposite of the literal meaning. In other words, don't waste your money on Mads, he's bang average, go for James Trafford much better choice, he's the real deal..
-
You must be thinking of somebody else, he was brilliant, just what Chelsea are looking for.
-
Sugar coat it as much as you like, Cooper was on a downward spiral, the owners saw that, sacked him and survived. if you want to ignore his losing streak, that is your choice, 2 seasons at the bottom of the Premiership with Cooper in charge does not make him an attractive option for Leicester City. You don't say, but I assume you mean Coopers first 5 games, 1. Lost to Arsenal 2. Beat Sheffield Utd (Relegated) 3. Lost to Manchester Utd. 4. Beat Chelsea. (Who were equally shocking at the time) 5 Drew with Burnley (Relegated) Followed by 1 win in 13 If a Leicester City manager provided stats like that, I'd expect him to be sacked. You seem to think, wrongly, that I have a personal grudge against Cooper, I have said all along that I doubt his credentials as a Premier League manager, I'm not interested in his Championship successes, I judge him on his Premier League performance which has not been great. In all walks of life, people reach their potential, maybe Cooper reached his in the Championship. If he proves otherwise in the future, then good luck to him. At the time of posting, 47,433 to go
-
Would have been 10 points above the bottom 3 if they hadn't been docked 4 points, Nuno did a good job following Coopers 1 win in 13 prior to his sack.
