Being realistic, Keane wouldn't get into any of the teams in the top 6 bar Liverpool but would he fit Klopp's style? Chelsea still have Christensen to come back and could go out in the summer and sign a top CB like Koulibaly. That leaves Leicester & Everton. Providing we stay up, I'd say we have a decent chance of still signing Keane.

we really don't need someone with Simpson's skillset right now. What we need is a calm, composed presence that can keep the ball, set up attacks and be an outlet too. I think Amartey can be this player, so for me he starts Vs Swansea.

Amartey & Wague at CB. Still think we should switch to 3 at the back, but if we don't I'd give this partnership a try. Can also seeSwansea playing narsingh upfront hoping to catch Morgan/Huth out. Only Amartey could keep up to pace with him.

if amartey is playing in a 3 at the back, the game will mostly be played infront of him and he'll also have 2 other CB's to support him. at DM in midfield, is where his lack of concentration gets exposed as you say, because he loses runners etc. however i agree, i think he'd be exposed at CB in our current system.

just a thought would anyone try 3 at the back, with amartey's return? amartey, morgan, wague?? 3 relatively athletic CB's, allowing us to play higher up the pitch & mahrez can have a free role. Sure Albrighton was awful at RWB against Chelsea, but we know from our great escape he can play there.
