Totally agree with this, if for arguments sake when we got promoted the club said it would put its focus into developing the youth system and look to integrate that into our training facilities, and have a long term view for the first team. I would have accepted short term pain as there would be a plan. As it turns out we spent loads on players that can’t even get in this team, and at every level the club is run appallingly.

Not able to get his own back room staff ( I see Everton have got a new staff for Moyes). Board lying to the manager at the start about how much money / PSR status. A top training ground facility but absolutely no strategy across all formats of the football club. Would not blame him for jumping, I can’t see any manager turning us around on their own with these players and board.

Agree, great trip. Boiling hot day, Belgium beer, great old city and still not quite believing we were actually playing in the champions league. Then at the game hearing the champions league music and win 3 nil away… What a night! One of the most unbelievable nights following the boys.

You mistake my point, I meant that our British players were piss heads, and that when the going got tough they were nowhere to be seen. Then add the Belgian clique, etc. I disagree with your evans point, as he was injured for most of the season you can’t really point the finger at him.

Pleases me that we are building a core of British based players again and addressing the complete lack of dressing room direction of the last few years. It will be so important in the championship.
