Just entered Equinox 24 at belvior Castle in September. Plan to do 10 laps so 100k in total. anyone done this before? I have done a single lap a few times there so know the course. My plan is to do 6-7 laps between 12 and midnight, then get up at 6am and 3-4 laps. -
We had continuous rain, thunder and sheet lightning at at Desford from 3.30 for nearly 2 hours. Quite the storm

Did you enjoy it? Also did the Chester today with the wife and daughter. Ran separate for this as we all went for a PB. We are running together for the Chester metric marathon in Oct. Managed 1.42 chip time but strata says 1.40. I'd take both anyway. Horrible hill on the last mile -

Good luck to all doing the Bosworth Half tomorrow, I'll be marshaling in Sutton Cheney just after the first left turn if you want to shout Rudkin out as you pass! -
Didn't that happen to Mike Newell?

They are excellent times mate and congrats on the weight loss. Great that you carried on, so many people give up after they have to stop a few times because they are blowing. Love reading stuff like this so keep us informed with the training and good luck with the LM -

Would you want us to be relegated to L1?

Pretty sure most of our sponsorship deals will have clauses in them so the financial implications of going down would put us in a worse situation we are already in. Going so straight back up with this lot wouldn't be as easy as last so definitely not -

I've been considering The Lap which is a 47m ultra around lake windermere. That became a stupid after yesterday's 20m for my marathon training which left me a bit broken. -
Booked a week in skopelos then moving over to skiathos for a week. Looked them up on booking.com then contacted hotels direct and saved £300.

Ran 18m on Saturday as a part of my Lanzerote marathon training in Dec. Started at jubilee Park near Miller and carter up to Blaby then picked up the great Central path to Leicester cutting back at woodgate, Can't believe how developed that now is along the canal! Up to the high Street, clock Tower then over to New walk up to vicky Park for 9am and did the park run before heading back via the KP where I asked Vichai to sort it out! 21 next week then start to taper with the benidorm half on the 22nd Nov. -

Saucony seem to be the only brand that my feet land right on gait analysis so that's all I wear. Just got some Hurricane 24s for £99 on sportshoes. -

Did it last year, was well supported and got a great hoodie at the end. A few nasty hills in there tho. I started training from Christmas and was out 3-4 days a week with my big runs at the weekend. Only trained up to a 16 miler which worked for me. Good luck -

@VLC86 @Ric Flair Thinking of an ultra myself for next year and keep getting The Lap at lake windermere popping up. Its 47 miles as most I've done is the marathon. After watching back Mount Eryri on S4C on Sunday 47 miles should be a doddle for VLC86, looked brutal.
