Off to amsterdam tomorrow for just 3 hours to exchange Christmas presents with my son and daughter as it was cheaper than posting and paying import duties, plus I get to bring theirs back. On my flight back What if I get stopped and they ask what is in the packages? Guess the worse that could happen is they will open them.

Booked a holiday through On The Beach but had to call them as we wanted to stay in two locations over the two weeks and could not do this on line. When I get my phone bill it was £37 more showing I had called a premium rate number for 55 minutes. Yeah it was on the beach . They charged me £37 to book a 3.6k holiday with them! I have emailed their complaints department but yet to hear anything and I am certainly not calling them. As I have only paid a £60 deposit I might just cancel it and rebook somewhere else.

Mrs picked up M&S 2 pizzas and two sides for £12 tonight and was all pretty decent to be fair.

Chippy in market bosworth do a mushy pea fritter which actually works, well for me anyway. It's a game changer. Everything else is decent too and there is always a queue.

After watching,'Social Dilemma' on Netflix I have cut my screen time down. If I had a spare minute while waiting for the kettle for instance I'd pick it up and look at crap. Sadly didnt work for my daughter tho who watches a film while scrolling through shit the whole way through.

It does get harder Raj, I have given up with times now I'm 58 and just happy to get round. I did a sprint triathlon yesterday and my PB was 1.08 16 yrs ago and did it in 1.30 yesterday which im happy with.

Just had the weekend there playing golf with a few mates, went with mrs before and the Shakespeare houses were worth a visit and did a decent ghost tour. Ate at Lambs on Sheep street which is Michelin star restaurant. We booked between 5-6.30 and got 2 courses for 21.50 each. Stopped at the premier which is great as a base and located in the centre. However Maccy Ds shuts at 11!

I understand sourcing the material would be difficult however if it could be done then I would pay good money for one to add to my memorabilia from that season

I didnt start paying into a pension properly til around 12 years ago. As I'm nearly 58 and would like to clock out at 65 I'm chucking as much as I can into my works pension through salary sacrifice. My last two pay rises have gone directly into this.our works accountant says it is a good way go top it up. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Have you done the sprint yet and how did you do? I've signed up for one in Sept, my first in ten years. I'm 58 in Sept and forgot how much I enjoyed the mixed training for it. My best time was 1.13 back then but I'd be happy to just get round now but would secretly like to do sub 1.30. Good luck if you haven't done it yet.

I go to 3-4 Ajax games with my my dutch grandson when I'm over there and i watch most games live on my errrm special firestick thingy. I was proud to say to other ajax fans he was ex Leicester for a short while but honestly, he was slow, kept getting caught in possession and could not read the game. The only plus I saw in him was that he could defend corners and was very strong in the box with one on one duels. I wouldn't want him anywhere near my club not even on a free. I think he was bought mainly on that one good game he'd had in the euro final with rangers.
